INTRODUCTION

I proposethatIresearchtheorganizationAll4OneAllianceformy longreport.All4OneAlliance
is a nonprofit organization partnered with Cancer Research Foundation(CRF) to help promote
thecureofbreastcancerandalsohelpallundeservedwomenrecoverfromthisdisease.

PROBLEM

Breast Cancer is the second mostcommontype ofcancerinAmericanwomen,afterskincancer,


today. In 2014, an estimated 232,030 cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed in the
U.S. alone. So no matter who you are or where you live, understanding breast cancer is
important. But the most important thing to know is this: a diagnosis is not a death sentence.

So what is Breast cancer? When the natural systems in the human body begins to malfunction
where theres more cell growth than death occurs, it resultsintheabnormalgrowthofamassof
tissue which we call a malignant tumor, also called cancer. And when this abnormal growth of
cells or tissue happen in the breast, we call itbreastcancer.Some tumorsmay growslowlyand
some grow more aggressive. Breast cancer happens to grow slowly and it maytakeabouttento
fifteenyearsforsomeonetorealizethattheyhavebreastcancer.

SOLUTIONS

The All4One Alliance is an unprecedented partnership alliance of organizations, businesses,


suppliers, and manufacturers working together on a shared initiative to help all underserved
womenrecoverfrombreastcancerwithdignity.(Sponsors,All4OneAlliance.org)
All4One Alliance has provided aid and assistance to several vulnerable and helpless women all
over the nation and overseas whofightsagainstbreastcancer.Thisnonprofitorganizationcan

help pay the outofpocket costs for breast prosthesis, post mastectomy, bras and garments,
lymphedema sleeves and gauntlets and more. The outof pocket costs vary based on your
insurance coverage , your deductible, and your copay amounts. (Support 4 women,

This non profit organization will also help you pay the agency or store that youre in contract
with to buy all the supplies for your postcancer treatment and this will be applied to your
outof pocket expense as well. But in most cases this may not even happen since All4One
Alliance will take care of most of your expenses depending on your insurance coverage and
expenses. Our goal is to ensure that all women receive the products and services they need to
enableahealthyrecoverywithdignity.(Support4Women,All4OneAlliance.org)

BENEFITS

The benefitsofthisnonprofit organization istheamountofhelpthatisprovidedtoallwomenin


the nation and to all the women living in other countries as well. The All4One Alliance
nonprofit organization providesfivedifferentassistanceprogramsthatyoucan choosefromand
alltheseprogramsaremanagedbytheCancerResearchFoundation,Inc.(CRF).
Thesearetheprogramsthatareprovidedbythefoundation:
All4One Breast Form Fund pays up to $300 for breast prosthesis (also called breast form)
everytwoyears.
All4One Garment Fund pays up to $100 for postmastectomy garments, including bras and
camisoleseveryyear.
All4One Lymphedivas Program provides a limited number of free sleeves and gauntlets each
month for approved applicants, also, approvedapplicantcanorderacompressionsleevefor$46,
acompressiongauntletfor$38,orasleeveandgauntletsetfor$79.
All4OneSofteeProgramprovidesonecamisolefreeofcharge.Onetimeonly.
All4One BFFLCo Program provides one free Masthead Bessie radiation bra free of
charge.Onetimeonly.

The eligibility requirement for each of these programsvary.Inorder toqualifyformostofthese


programs there are certain criterias that needs to be met: You need to have a household income
below twenty five percent of the federal poverty level, you need to have a doctors note or
referral stating proof of your treatment, need to show proof of your diagnosis of breast cancer,
andalsoneedproofthatyouvehadbreastsurgeryforthetreatmentofbreastcancer.


APPROACH

This report will be approached in a methodical manner. First, through the introduction this
proposal will talk about the organization that is researchedonandtheproblemwillstateoutand
talk about the organization's philanthropy, which is about breast cancer,andgointodetailabout
breast cancer and write about everything that an average person should know about thedisease.
After the Introduction and problem is thesolution.Thereportwillthenproceedtostate outwhat
the organizations solutions and the benefits are to the problem and examine the ways and
methodstheorganizationhastobetterthechancesforitsmembersandforthecommunity.

QUALIFICATIONS
I believe that Im qualified to do this proposal report on the nonprofit organization, All4One
Alliance. One reason as to why Im qualified to do this job is because as a
biochemistry/PrePharmacy major Im required to take classes where we are taught to write
research reports on several non profit health organizations and foundations that provides help

and serves its community through medical service. I have spent time researching andreviewing
thewebsiteandresearchedalotmoreontheirfoundationandphilanthropy.
RESOURCES
For this proposal report, I used the library resources that is provided by the UNT and NCTC
library to the students. Some of these resources arebooksandscholarlyarticlesonbreastcancer
and some were from medical magazines provided by the UNT biology and chemistry
department. I also used GALE and Ebsco to find articles regarding breast cancerandonseveral
organizationsthathelpedthecommunityfightoffthisdisease.
