LOW PRESSURE
AIR COMPRESSOR
The Low Pressure (LP) Compressor is rated at 80 CFM @ 200 PSI, which can supply sufficient Air to
support 2 Divers during a Surface Diving Operation, and also supply Air for the Deck Decompression
Chamber (DDC). Air intake is through a 3 hose fitted with a filter, which is normally sited in an open
fresh air area. The compressed air is stored in a 24 Dia. x 72 long Air receiver, and then channelled
through a 3 stage filter to a manifold consisting of 1x3/4 and 2x3/8 quarter turn valves, which
distributes Air directly to the Dive panel. All pressure vessels and stages are fitted with relief valves. The
3 stages of the filter are Vortex separators, Coalescent filter and Carbon filter, all with manual drains.
The Engine exhaust is fitted with a Spark arrestor.

SEAPROBE 200
UNDERWATER THICKNESS
GAUGE
The Seaprobe 200 is a self contained battery powered thickness gauge intended for measuring
steel structure or components immersed in seawater. A particular feature of Seaprobe 200 is the
absence of user controls. In typical use, Seaprobess internal rechargeable battery will permit
the user to take over 2000 thickness readings before recharging is necessary. The combination
of ergonomically designed housing, large bright display and advanced measuring techniques,
results in a measurement system of high reliability and extreme simplicity.

DIVING STATION
The panel is built of light steel or tufnel used as a frame for 2 x Pneomo-fathometers (Depth gauges), 2 x
divers air supply, 2 x emergency HP air inlets (through an HP Reducer) to the LP system.
The panel is normally sited on 4 x HP bottles (240 cubic feet each) complete with communications and 2
x 300umbilicals consisting of 3/8 gates diving hoses, Pneomo-fathometers, 4 x wire armoured
communications and safety line, all of which are taped together. Caribina clips secure the umbilical with
divers safety harness.
The Total unit can be moved around the deck by the vessels crane allowing greater flexibility to the
client in running a surface supplied diving operation.

CHAMBER
The DDC is a twin lock decompression pressure vessel. The entrance or medical lock is used to access to the
main lock. The DDC is normally fitted with out with 12V telephones, Medical oxygen Scott bibs, a first aid
kit and a chamber fire extinguisher. There is a service lock for transferring food and viewing ports with
external lighting. The air and medical oxygen is controlled from a panel mounted on the outside of the DDC
where the operator can monitor the diver and supply air and medical oxygen required during decompression
or therapeutic treatment.
The DDC is normally installed in a standard 20air-conditioned container c/w door, windows, 240V AC
power distribution panel and workbench. Optionally, Dark equipment for developing 35mm colour or black

UNDERWATER VIDEO
SYSTEM
The Bowtech BP-DVIS, Diver Video Inspection System is a portable control station for operation, viewing
and recording of underwater colour or monochrome video cameras together with intensity control of
underwater lamp.
The control station is housed in a marine grade transport container manufactured from high quality plywood,
pressure bonded to tough laminate, riveted to external angle frame using waterproof rivets.
The system consists of BP-L3c colour camera, underwater lamp, diver pistol grip or helmet mounting kit,
umbilical and surface control station.
The system can be powered from 240VAC mains or from a local 12VDC battery pack. A video overlay unit

GAS RADIO
AIR RADIO
A completely self-contained unit that provides two-wire communication between the operator and one or two divers.
The Model 3220 provides unusually good sound quality, even in a helium atmosphere, because of a broader
frequency response of 300Hz to 12kHz, which is greater than the 300Hz 3kHz typically used in voice communication
systems.
For easy hook-up, the two wires from each of the divers speakers/microphones are connected to binding posts on the
front panel. The speakers function as speakers and microphones for both divers and surface units. When two divers
are connected in this manner, a three-way conversation is possible; the operator can talk to each diver individually or
both simultaneously. The divers can also talk to each other directly.
A Press-to-talk switch, a diver speaker selector and two cross-talk switches enable the surface operator to control all
modes of operation. Separate volume controls adjust the output of both the surface units and divers
speaker/microphones, providing the divers with more or less volume as conditions demand. A full six watts audio
allows easy listening even at noisy work sites.
An important safety feature is the input and output transformers that electrically isolate the divers cables from power
leads. Internal shielding suppresses interference from ignition systems, radio transmission and generating equipment.
A record jack on the front panel enables the tender to record both sides of all conversations.
An optional feature is the Remote Jack, which will allow the tender to remotely operate the Press-to-talk switch up to
250 feet away from the unit.
