Pack 3322 Registrar & Pack Committee Member Description: This position coordinates all scout and leader registration

paperwork for the pack, keeps registration records and email addresses updated, and assists with the annual re-chartering process. Duties: • Attends pack meetings, two annual recruitment nights, new scout orientation and periodic Pack Leader meetings Participates in pack leadership decisions Accepts scout applications and registration fees, verifies applications for completeness, routes for pack signatures and submits to Great Trails Council Updates and distributes pack roster spreadsheet and maintains yahoo email lists Assigns new scouts to the dens and communicates with parents and den leaders Assists with the coordination of fall & spring recruitment/rally nights (typically late September & April) Uses online program to update scout/leader status and produce reports for recharter activities (January) Works with den leaders to establish scout status and determine the reason for any scout leaving the pack Generates labels and membership reports Identifies process improvements and documents procedures for future Registrars Keeps historical records.

Skills: Organized, detailed oriented; experience using web applications, spreadsheets, and Word mail merge for label generation Commitment: Average 4 hours/month, not including pack meetings. Busiest in late September, January and April; no summer work Training: 6 hours district scout program training (one time) + 1 hour pack training (one time) + 3 hours re-charter training (annual) Uniform: Optional To volunteer, speak to any leader
