Triton
Tritons
name
in Roman is still
Triton.
Triton is the
sea god. He
was a creature
of the sea with
his upper body
human, and his
bottom half
fishlike.
Triton stilled the waves with
the blow of a conch-shell
trumpet. He could make the
waves calm or raise them.
This could affect people in
floods, or even a drought!
Some people were afraid of

The Family
Triton is not married, although he had more than
four daughters. Their names are Pallas,
Kalliste, Triteria, and the tritonides. Record
does not know how many daughters are in the
tritonides. All that is known is that they were
all girls. In modern day, Ariel is his most famous
daughter, but that comes just from Disney.
Where he lives
According to legend,
Triton lived with his
parents in a golden palace
in the depths of the sea.
The story of the
Argonauts placed his
home off of the coast of
Libya.
We might
not know
the exact
location of
where he
lived, but
we do know

Reflection
In working on this project, it helped me learn a few
computer skills. One of the computer skills I learned is
that when you add a shape to write words in, you can
make it blend in with the background you have so you
just see the words. You just click on the shape, go to
textbox tools, click shape fill, and you press no fill. I
have to say so myself it looked pretty cool! The second
thing I learned is how to put a picture in your shape.
First, you go to Google (or any internet source) and pick
your picture. Second, you click the shape; go to format,
text fill, and then picture. Finally, you just click your
picture! Its easy as 1, 2, and 3!
Another thing I learned during this project is a lot
of who my project is about, Triton! Did you know he
actually had four daughters? He did not have seven
daughters, that is just a Disney story. I learned that his
foster daughter Athena accidentally killed his real
daughter Pallas. He must have been very sad. I know I
would be. I also learned that people in Greece worshiped
these gods hoping they would make them wealthy.
