Qualification and Experience

Part-time Specialist : For a period of one year on contract basis or till regular Specialist joins whichever is
earlier. PG Degree or equivalent, with 3 years experience in respective specialty. PG Diploma, with 5 years
experience in respective speciality.
Senior Resident-1 Year (Adhoc): For a period of one year on contract basis or till regular GDMO joins
whichever is earlier. PG Degree or PG Diploma. Candidates with 2 years experience after MBBS out of which
one year in the concerned speciality in Govt./Reputed hospitals will be considered if PG candidates are not
available. For Dental SR, BDS with 3 years experience in Govt./reputed hospitals.
Senior Resident-3 Year (Regular): For a period of three years on contract basis. PG Degree or PG Diploma in
the concerned speciality.
Ayurveda Physician (on contract - for 6 months only): Degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery with 3 years
experience in Govt./reputed hospitals.

Duties, Remuneration and Age

Part -Time Specialists (1 year contract):
Duties: To work for 2 sessions of 2 hours each a day for 5 days a week.(Time : 9 am to 1 pm)
Remuneration: Rs.40,000 /- (Rupees forty thousand only) per month (Consolidated).
Age: Not exceeding 64 years as on 05.11.2014
Senior Resident-1 Year (Adhoc):
Remuneration:
For PG Degree holders- Basic Pay Rs.18,750+Rs.6,600 (G.P.) and other allowances as per rules. Total
emoluments Rs.69,500/- (Approx.)
For PG Diploma holders- Basic Pay Rs.18,150+Rs.6,600 (G.P.) and other allowances as per rules. Total
emoluments Rs.68,000/- (Approx.)

For MBBS with experience- Basic Pay Rs.15,600+Rs.5,400 (G.P.) and other allowances as per rules. Total
emoluments Rs.58,000/- (Approx.)
Age: Not exceeding 35 years as on 05.11.2014. Relaxation for reserved categories as per rules.
Reservation: As per rules
Senior Resident-3 Years (Regular):
Remuneration:
For PG Degree holders- Basic Pay Rs.18,750+Rs.6,600 (G.P.) and other allowances as per rules. Total

Ayurveda Physician-(on contract - for 6 months only):
Duties: To work for 5 hours a day (9 a.m. to 2 p.m.); Six days a week.
Remuneration: Rs.15,000/-per month. (Rupees fifteen thousand only) (Consolidated)
Age: Not exceeding 35 years as on 05.11.2014. Relaxation for reserved categories as per rules.
Preference will be given to PWD (Persons with Disability) candidates as per rules as shown in Annexure -1

VACANCIES AS PER ACTUAL REQUIREMENT ON THE DATE OF INTERVIEW

Interested Candidates are advised to attend a WALK-IN-INTERVIEW on 05.11.2014 from 10 a.m.
onwards at ESIC Hospital, Udyogamandal, Ernakulam with application in the prescribed proforma, all
original documents, one set of xerox copies of all original documents and two recent passport size
photographs (one affixed on the application)
Details of Application fee: Rs.250/- (Rupees two hundred and fifty only) for General/OBC Candidates
and Rs.50/- (Rupees fifty only) for SC/ST candidates by way of Demand Draft in favour of ESI Fund Account
No.1 payable at SBI, Kalamassery. Female applicants are exempted from Application Fee.
