AT&T EXPANDS 4G LTE COVERAGE TO MORE CUSTOMERS IN

CHENANGO AND BROOME COUNTIES
Eight Cell Sites Upgraded to 4G LTE as Part of AT&Ts Project VIP Investment
NORWICH, , N.Y., DEC., 22, 2014 As part of its continuing network investment and ongoing 4G LTE
rollout, AT&T* has upgraded eight mobile Internet cell sites in Chenango and Broome Counties to
expand AT&T 4G LTE coverage for area residents and businesses.

New LTE coverage includes:

Chenago County: along Route 12 in Norwich, Green,Gilford, Oxford, and Sherburne. Coverage
was also extended in Sherburne to Routes 12B and 80 and in Bainbridge along Routes 7, 88,
and in Bennettsville and the Oak Ridge State Forest.

Broome County: along Route 12 in Chenango Forks and in Whitney Point along Routes 11, 26
and Interstate 81.

The upgraded cell sites are part of AT&Ts ongoing efforts to expand 4G LTE coverage and to drive
investment and innovation to deliver the nations best, most advanced mobile Internet experience for
customers.

upload, stream and game faster than ever before on our 4G LTE network, said Marissa Shorenstein,
New York President, AT&T. As part of the communities in Chenango and Broome Counties, were
always looking for new opportunities to provide enhanced coverage, and our investment in the local
wireless network is another way were accomplishing that.

AT&Ts 4G Network
This launch is part of AT&Ts Project Velocity IP (VIP), a three-year investment plan announced in Fall
2012 to expand and enhance its IP broadband networks. Through this investment, AT&T is supporting
its customers growing desire for high-speed Internet access and new mobile, app and cloud-based
services. As part of Project VIP, AT&T plans to add macro cell sites nationwide by year-end 2015, as
well as deploy small cells and add Distributed Antenna Systems to increase the density of its wireless
network.

consistent user experience.**

globally through roaming agreements. Most AT&T smartphone customers get access to our entire
national Wi-Fi network at no additional cost, and Wi-Fi usage doesnt count against customers monthly
wireless data plans.***
