Town Board Moments
1.Citizen Concerns a.
The Board was
addressed with
information that was
received from the Jeff.
Co. Board of Legislators
about replacing the
countywide public safety
radio communication
system which is targeted
to be in place and
functioning by December
of 2016.A discussion
followed on costs and
effects these added costs
would have on the Towns
local Fire Depts., Highway
departments and local
ambulance services. This
information is being
distributed to these
departments now for
future budgets needs.
Legislator Drake is going
to obtain more information
about this and report
back.
2. Mrs. Shaw reported
that the outside lights at
the Library have been
fixed. A brief discussion
about recycling took place
and will be discussed
further at the January
meeting.
Next Town Board meeting
will be on Jan.12th, 2015
@ Town Hall @7PM

Village Board Moment

1.Citizen Concerns- a.
Resident was requesting
the status of wanting
chickens on his property.
The board stated he
would have to file for a
special use permit. If
denied, then to file a
request to appear before
the zoning board of
appeals.
2. DPW REPORT: Supt.
Pitts stated the new well
is permanently connected
and the pump is in.
There is a little electrical
work left to be done. He
also stated that the rear
piston in the backhoe
snapped so it is out of
commission for the time
being. He added the
Board may want to start
thinking about looking
into a replacement.
3. SEWER PROJECT
REPORT: Contract #1
and Contract #2 are
substantially complete.
They are still working out
the pumping station
replacement details with
our funding agencies.
