Notice of requirement for designation

Section 169 of the Resource Management Act 1991

Your submission must be in the format set out in the

Resource Management (Forms, Fees, and Procedure)
Regulations 2003, Form 21.

Auckland Council has received notice of a requirement

for a designation from the Minister of Education.

You can print a submission form that follows this format

from aucklandcouncil.govt.nz/districtregionalplans or
obtain one from any Auckland Council service centre.

The requirement applies to 181 and 191 Walters Road,

Takanini (Lots 5 and 6 DP 47595).

Send your submission to Auckland Council by one of the

following methods:

The notice of requirement seeks to designate the site

for education purposes, which will include a full primary
school (years 0 to 8) and early childhood education
facility.
How to view the notice of requirement
The notice of requirement may be inspected on the
Auckland Council website (search for Papakura Plan
Amendment 53).
Alternatively, this information may be viewed during
business hours at:
Papakura Service Centre, 35 Coles Crescent, Papakura
Sir Edmund Hillary Library, 209 Great South Road,
Papakura.
Making a submission on the notice of requirement
Any person may make a submission on the notice of
requirement, but a person who is a trade competitor of
the requiring authority may do so only if that person is
directly affected by an effect of the activity to which the
requirement relates that:
(a) adversely affects the environment; and
(b) does not relate to trade competition or the effects
of trade competition.
