B. Objectives of the Course


1- Summary of the main learning outcomes for students enrolled in the course
Upon completion of this course, the student will:
To understand the environmental performance characteristics of buildings.
To introduce the fundamentals of large scale environmental control systems
design with an emphasis on new strategies used to solve interesting and
challenging human comfort and energy related problems in buildings.
To utilize low energy strategies to solve building environmental controls design
problems.

Plans for Course Development:
- Increase of web-based reference material through the establishment of a web-site linked
to the college site and including text and exercise materials.
- Updating the course material through the continuous development of the college
undergraduate plan and the curriculum.
