Jaya33 Sdn Bhd's appointment as the MSC Malaysia Cybercentre manager for its Towers 1, 2 and 3 was also formalised at a document exchange ceremony between MDeC and Jaya33, recently. Currently, Electrolux Home Appliances Sdn Bhd is the first tenant at Jaya33 Cybercentre to be awarded the MSC-status for its Global Shared Service Centre. “With the inclusion of Jaya33 Cybercentre, there are now 26 MSC Malaysia Cybercities and Cybercentres nationwide to cater to the growing demand of our ICT industry,” said MDeC chief executive officer Datuk Badlisham Ghazali. Today, MSC Malaysia is home to more than 3,000 local and multinational MSC Malaysia- status companies involved in various ICT clusters, such as InfoTech, Shared Services and Outsourcing (SSO) and Creative Multimedia. Datuk Badlisham added that Jaya33 Cybercentre’s status as an MSC Malaysia Cybercentre is another step towards transforming the Klang Valley into a globally competitive location favoured by knowedge-based industries and attractive to global citizens. Jaya33 Cybercentre is equipped with sophisticated integrated ICT facilities such as fibre optics, duak feed power redundancy and round-the-clock building operations and support. High ceilings with more headroom, sturdier floors, better layout and ample parking are also some of Jaya33 Cybercentre’s main features. In addition, Jaya33 Cybercentre has strong appeal to corporations wanting to set up offices in Petaling Jaya for the following reasons.
