ASSIGNMENT 04a
Based on the national energy balance and using the Input-Output analysis, determine the
following:
a) All the coefficients for the matrix of the intermediate input, vector of final consumption
(exports and final user consumption), total final energy output, production factors (autoproduction, imports, stocks variations, and degradation), and primary energy input.
b) Estimate the efficiency (in terms of EF / EP) for the Oil sector.

Note: To simplify the analysis, consider the following major sectors

1 Coal
2 Oil (total oil + other gases)
3 Natural gas
4 Electricity
5 Others (Heat + Renewable without hydro)
