Remember that in English we have 12


tenses which are divided in 2 forms.
Recuerden que en Ingls tenemos 12 tiempos verbales que se
dividen en dos formas.

1)

Active Form which shows the action


Forma activa que muestra la accin

2)

Passive Form which describes the action


Forma pasiva que describe la accin

Today we will see, when to use and how to use both


the Active form and the Passive form in a
continuous form.
Hoy vamos a ver, cuando se utiliza y cmo utilizar tanto la forma
activa y la voz pasiva en una forma continua.

Now the uses of the Continuous tenses in the Passive form are exactly the
same as we saw in the previous classes of the Active form.
Ahora bien, los usos del los tiempo Continuos en la forma pasiva es exactamente lo
mismo que hemos visto en las clases anteriores de la forma activa.
The difference is how the sentence structured .
La diferencia es cmo se estructura la oracin.
Remember that the most significant difference between the Active and the
Passive form is that the Passive in a continuous form you always have to
have a verb To Be + being followed by the past participle of the verb.
Recuerde que la diferencia ms significativa entre la forma activo y la forma
pasivo es que la forma pasiva siempre debe tener un verbo To Be + being seguido
por el participio pasado del verbo.

Present Continuous in Active and Passive form.


Presente Continuo en forma activa y pasiva

Active Form
In active sentences, the thing
doing the action is the subject of
the sentence and the thing
receiving the action is the
object. Most sentences are
active.
[Thing doing action] + [verb to
be in the present] + [verb + ing]
+ [thing receiving action]

Forma Activa
En oraciones activas, lo que hace la accin
es el sujeto de la oracin y lo que recibe la
accin es el objeto. La mayora de las
oraciones son activas.
[Quien hace la accin] + [verbo to be en el
presente] + [verbo + ing] + [Quien recibe la
accin]

Passive Form
In passive sentences, the thing
receiving the action is the
subject of the sentence and the
thing doing the action is
optionally included near the
end of the sentence. You can
use the passive form if you
think that the thing receiving
the action is more important or
should be emphasized. You can
also use the passive form if you
do not know who is doing the
action or if you do not want to
mention who is doing the
action.

to be in the present] + [Being]
+ [past participle of verb] +

Forma Pasiva
En oraciones pasivas, lo que recibe la
accin es el sujeto de la oracin y quien
hace la accin se incluye opcionalmente
cerca del final de la frase. Puede utilizar la
forma pasiva si usted piensa que lo que
recibe la accin es ms importante o deben
ser resaltados. Tambin puede utilizar la
forma pasiva si usted no sabe quin est
haciendo la accin o si no quieres hablar
de quin est haciendo la accin.
[Receptor de la accin] + [verbo (To Be) en
el presente] + [being] + [participio pasado
del verbo] + [por] + Quien o que hace la
accin
