1. Plat the curve of dry density against moister content of the compacted soil
2. Obtain the air voids of the soil at the optimum water content
2- the weight of a sample cut from soil is 1.894 kg for sand cone test
this sample was dried &it's weight 1.655 kg . the weight of cone , sand
& container is 3.426 kg the of these items after fill the hall by sand is
1.594 kg. the unit weight of standard sand uses is 1.62 gm/cm 3
Note: the weight of sand in cone sand equal 0.247 kg
Calculate the degree of compaction (Rc)
Use the unit weight in lab from first problem
