    Dr. Zernik:

    This is in response to your email dated October 22, 2007.

    Countrywide will not re-litigate matters that have already concluded. If any party had a problem with the
    rulings, there was an opportunity to contest them, and that time has passed. We reiterate that our limited
    involvement in this matter was entirely proper. Moreover, Countrywide is not required to respond to your
    questions, and as we have previously indicated, Countrywide declines to get further involved in this matter.
