Successful completion of EDUC 797: Internship I with Seminar requires 28, 29 or 30 points on the Summative MAT Internship Professional and
Performance Competencies Assessment. All competencies must receive a minimum of one point.
Final scores of 27 or less on the Summative Assessment will be considered unsatisfactory.
Students receiving scores of 28 or 29 on the Summative Assessment will be required to develop and implement an Improvement Plan to address the
indicator(s) that are not “Consistently Evident.” The Improvement Plan must be written within one week following the receipt of the Summative
Assessment and approved by the supervisor before the end of the fall semester. It is the intern’s responsibility to schedule an appointment with the
supervisor to discuss the Improvement Plan.
Successful completion of EDUC 797 is a required prerequisite for admission to EDUC 798: Internship II with Seminar.
