1. Project description:

We will be changing the design of the “Passiona” drink


can in an attempt to make it more appealing to
consumers. By doing this we hope to attract a new
clientele and boost sales.

2. Background Information:

Looking at some company’s that have changed the


design of their drink can’s we see that for many of them
it has been a welcome change. All brands need to
change, every thing needs to evolve

Coka cola are a great example of a company that is


always changing and evolving to fit in with the current
trends and keep the consumer interested.

Here is an example from the Canadian beer company


“Kokanee”.
They held a competition for the new designs of their beer
cans and where very successful from it.

3. Possible solutions:

I feel there are two possible solutions to re-design the


can.
Sol #1: We could hire a designer to make the new can,
or…..
Sol #2: We could have a competition for anyone willing
to enter.

4. Evaluation of solutions:

Sol #1: would most likely be the simplest and the


cheapest possibility.

Sol #2: I feel this would draw even more attention to the
re-branding of the ‘can’ design. It would create a buzz
even before the design was decided. It would also make
the consumer feel like they have a piece of themselves in
the design, even if they didn’t win the competition they
have already put the effort in to be a part.

5. Most feasible solution:

The most feasible solution for the re-branding would be


to hire some artists or designers and see what they can
come up with.

6. Conclusion:

In conclusion I will be organising a team of designers and


artists to develop a new can design that will appeal to a

new range of clientele and hopefully open up new sales
for passiona.
