Burtt’s carrer

Benjamin Burtt was born on the 12th of July 1948 is an American
sound designer, film editor, director, screenwriter, and voice actor.
Burt has worked as sound designer on many films such as: Star Wars
and Indiana Jones series, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial), and WALL-E.

Highlights of Burtt’s carrer

He is mostly known for creating many of the iconic sound effects
heard in the Star Wars films, including the "voice" of R2-D2, the
lightsaber hum, the sound of the blaster guns, and the heavybreathing sound of Darth Vader. Burtt is also very well known for
"voicing" the character Wall-E. He also created the robotic sound of
Wall-e's voice, along with all the other characters in WALL-E, and
was the Sound Editor of the movie.

The winner of four Academy Awards (two of which are Special
Achievement Academy Awards), he is the director of various
documentary films. He is also the editor of the three films of the Star
Wars prequel trilogy.
