The government establishes the law by three-fourths of the

states, not by the people. The government has much more power than
the states now because the national government. Now, the state has
much more power than before and sometimes it blocks the federal
action and become more independent. After federal pass a law. The
state has authority to deny the federal law.
In article” Most States Funding Schools Less Than Before The
Recession”, it states that most states cut the budget on education and
the states is providing less and less fund on the college and high
schools. According to the article, “at least 35 states are providing less
funding per student for the 013-2014 school year than they did before
the recession hit.” Michael Leachman and chris Mail, “Most States
Funding Schools Less Than Before The Recession” center on Budget
and Policy Priorities, May 20 2014, www.cbp.org/cms/index.cfm?
fa=view&id=4011. According to the article, many schools lost their
state aids.
There are several reasons that the state cut the education
funding. First of all, the state revenue is low during the recessions. The
state still processes in recovery from the recession in 2008. Second of
all, the costing of school is rising. As the population of student is rising,
the education funding costs more and more so that the state cannot
afford. Third of all, the state has to avoid the rising the costing.
Federal government did not step up to help the state situation.
According the article, “Adding to states’ struggles, federal policymakers
have cut ongoing federal funding for states and localities, thereby
worsening state fiscal conditions.” Michael Leachman and chris Mail,

www.cbp.org/cms/index.cfm?fa=view&id=4011. The federal
government put the state in bad situation and it damages not only the
future, but also our economy too.

There are other issue between the states and federal
government. In article “Who should regulate guns- the federal
government or the states?” states that there is a big discussion about
the gun control between federal and state. The gun law by each state
is difference, so it is hard to put into effect between each state.

According to the article, “In other words, if a gun owner had a permit to
carry in Utah, which has relatively relaxed gun laws, and traveled to
California, which has strict gun laws, California would not be able to
punish the gun owner for any violation of its laws.” John Vettese. “Who
should regulate guns- the federal or the state?” Annenberg Classroom,

In fact, the federal publish the rule for gun control to limit carry
guns but the state law is not support it. Some state issue out-of-state
gun permits, it violate the other state law for gun control. According to
the article, “There are no standard I the bill,” California Assemblyman
Mike Feuer told the Sacraento Bee. “whatever state that has the least
restrictions would be the law of the entire country.” John Vettese. “Who
should regulate guns- the federal or the state?” Annenberg

In conclusion, who should regulate guns? There are many
different opinions. The state and federal government have to get
together and unite their idea in order to control guns effective.
