What is Faith

March 8-March 14, 2015

Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and

confessions, and read the Bible story with your child each
day. As this is done, let your child color in or put a sticker
on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional.
At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion
and return to the teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks
Power Cords in a month will have their picture posted in
the foyer of Power Source.

Faith is believing in things you cant see.

Father God,

After Jesus rose from the dead, He appeared to some of His disciples.
Thomas wasnt with them. He didnt believe the other disciples
when they told him they had seen Jesus. Thomas said he would only
believe when he could see and touch the nail prints in Jesus hands,
and touch His side. Eight days later, Jesus came to the disciples
again. Thomas was with them. Jesus invited him to touch the place
where the nails had been. Jesus said He wanted Thomas to have
faith - to believe even when he couldnt see something. John

Thank you for helping me to grow in my faith. Thank you

for protecting my parents, teachers, friends, Pastor Ron,
and his family. May they be strengthened with all might in
Your glorious power. (Col. 1:11) Forgive me when I sin
with my mouth, my hands or my thoughts. Teach me to
obey my parents so things will go well with me and I will
live a long life on the earth (Eph. 6:2-3). Help me to tell
others about Your great love! Thank you that because of
Jesus, I am healed and whole.

. . .walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7
