Knowledge: understanding the etiology, pathology, symptoms, signs, natural history and prognosis of illnesses. Plan: learning, keeping up to date and revising the theory taught in lectures, tutorials and workshops Patients: ability to communicate with patients from diverse backgrounds. Plan: see and interact with as many patients as possible in the hospital setting, especially embracing opportunities to learn from patients of varying social and cultural backgrounds.
