Re: Eleanor Roosevelt Boys' Invitational Track Meet

Hi Erin, Rich, Doug, and Ben:
We are pleased to invite Washington, Jefferson, Mazzuchelli, and Galena to the ninth annual Eleanor
Roosevelt Boys Invitational Track Meet on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 9:00 AM. Please share the
information listed below, and the entry template attached, with your track coaches as soon as
possible. The template that we have provided is for planning purposes only -- all entries will be done online.

PLACE: Senior High School Dalzell Field

TROPHIES: Trophies will be awarded to the first and second place teams in each grade. Ribbons will also
be awarded for first through third. Coaches will receive ribbons and trophies at the conclusion of track
meet at the press box. Please make sure coaches take results and ribbons with them before leaving.
ENTRY FEE: $45.00 -- If you have not sent your entry fee, please do so. (Entry fees may be sent to my
attention at Roosevelt Middle School, 2001 Radford Road.. Thanks.)
ENTRIES: See the attached entry form. This is for your coaches to use to assign athletes to events. Upon
completion of the template coaches will need to complete the registration of athletes on Aspi meets.

ORDER OF RUNNING: See the attachment for the order of events. For the most part the order of running
will be 8th Boys followed by the 7th Boys. Some events may be combined, if possible, to save time.
REPORTING FOR EVENTS: Field events will report at their event area. Running events will report to the
Clerk of Course at the head of the track on the east side of Dalzell. One member of each relay team
must bring a relay card when reporting for their running event.
If a field event participant needs to go to a running event, the athlete will be required to return to the field
event at the conclusion of his running event. Failure to promptly return to the field event may result in a
disqualification for the athlete.
TRACK COURTESY: When athletes are not preparing or involved in an event, we ask that all athletes sit
as a team in the bleachers. Please remember that there should be no crossing the track in the path of
oncoming runners. We also ask that each team pick up their area at the conclusion of the track meet. We
want to leave a clean facility for Jefferson's Invitational in the afternoon. Thanks.
If you have questions, please call me at (563) 552-5039. We wish you the best of luck with the remainder
of your track program and look forward to welcoming all teams to the invitational.
