Kings College, a member of the NCAA Division III, located in northeastern Pennsylvania, invites
applications for a Graduate Assistant/Intern position: Womens Soccer.
Successful candidates for this position will get twelve (12) credits of graduate level classes (per year), a
stipend, housing on campus, and a meal plan. This 10 month appointment starts August 1, 2015 and is
renewable on a year to year basis.
Position Responsibilities
Assist with:
Goalkeeping Instruction
Identification and recruitment of potential student-athletes
Monitoring student-athlete academic progress
Organizing and supervising all practices and games
Match analysis and film break down
Organizing and maintaining inventory of all equipment and clothing
Fund-raising efforts, public relations, and promotions
Management of I.D. clinics/summer camps
Other tasks as assigned by the head coach and athletic director
Position Requirements
Required
Bachelors degree
Candidates with the intent to pursue coaching as a profession
Experience in coaching elite youth, high school, and/or college soccer players
Willingness to work some nights and weekends throughout the year
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
Must have strong organizational skills
U.S. drivers license
Preferred
Collegiate coaching and/or playing experience
Goalkeeper coaching and/or playing experience at the college level
Proven experience in recruiting Division III student-athletes
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
Camp and clinic management experience
NSCAA or USSF coaching qualifications
