It has been another year of breakthrough achievements for the Rotary Club Of Utumishi. The Rotary
Clubs in Kenya have numerous great projects, our club is proud to be part of the Prosthetic hand project,
The Eye Care Hospital at Elementaita, Gift of life heart fund at Mater Hospital among many others. All of
which has been a tremendous team effort. Let us together make sure were in a strong growth position when
we head in this new year of Light up Rotary!

Gift of Life Project

On 29th June 2014 at the SSDS temple, Nairobi Utumishi Rotary Club held a donation
ceremony and received 1.2 million from Jain Social Group. PDG Geeta Manek, DG
Bimal Kantaria and Rtn. Bagda Kumar also donated to the Mater Hospital to cater
towards 24 heart surgeries for the children. Thank you to Rtn. PP David Muiru Host
Project Director for Gift of Life.

The Health Focus talk was held at the Heart Lodge in Ridgeways on 19th July
2014, to enrich the Rotarians on health issues.
They were later awarded certificates from the District Governor Bimal
Kantaria and Head of Health Committee Rtn. PP David Muiru. We had four

A Cold Morning

D9212 Vocational Services. Biz dating breakfast was held on the 9th August 2014
at Laico Regency Hotel. Our fellow Rotarians supported the event and over 100
members attended.
During the event we interacted and exchanged business cards. It was a fruitful
event, Rotarians have requested for a second session.
