1. Description
1.1 Intended purpose
1.2 Scope of supply
The SilverCrest yoghurt maker SJB15B1 is

suitable for making yoghurt. The preparation
of other foods is not permissible.
Only use the yoghurt maker indoors, never
outside.
This product is intended for use in private
households and is not suitable for
commercial purposes.
The appliance is likewise suitable for:
use in staff kitchens in shops, offices and
other commercial areas,
use in agricultural settings,
customers in hotels, motels and other
accommodations,
bed-and-breakfast establishments.

4.1 Explanation of terms
The following keywords are used in these
user instructions:

4.2 General information

Please read these user instructions
carefully before use. They are a
constituent part of the appliance and
must be kept to hand at all times.
Use the appliance only for the purpose
described (see 1.1 Intended purpose
on page 3).
To prevent damage, check that the
mains voltage required (see type plate
4
on the appliance) is compatible with

your mains voltage.
This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and/
or lack of knowledge, unless either
supervised by a person responsible for
their safety or given instructions on the
use of the appliance by such a person.
Children should be supervised to ensure
they do not play with the appliance.
Please note that any claim under the
warranty or for liability will be invalid if
accessories are used that are not
recommended in these user instructions,
or if original spare parts are not used for
repairs. This also applies to repairs
undertaken by unqualified persons. The
contact data can be found in Service
Centre auf Seite 10.
If the appliance should develop a fault
during the warranty period, it may only
be repaired by our Service Centre.
Otherwise all claims under warranty are
null and void. The contact data can be

found in Service Centre auf Seite 10.
To ensure you can intervene promptly if
a fault occurs, never leave the appliance
unsupervised during operation.
Check that the power socket is easily
accessible since the appliance does not
have an On/Off switch.
4.3 Protection against electric shock
Warning! The following safety

information is intended to protect
you against electric shock.
The appliance must not under any
circumstances be used if it is damaged.
Have the device repaired in such cases
by a qualified specialist. The contact
data can be found in Service Centre
auf Seite 10.
If the mains cable for this appliance is
damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or a person with similar
qualifications in order to avoid a
hazard.
Water or other liquids must never be
allowed to enter the appliance. For this
reason:
never use it outdoors
never immerse it in liquids
never place liquid-filled objects, e.g.
pans, on the appliance
never use in very humid environments.
If liquid should enter the appliance,
unplug the mains plug immediately and
have the appliance repaired by a
qualified technician. The contact data
can be found in Service Centre auf
Seite 10.
Avoid using extension cables. An
extension cable may only be used under
very specific conditions:

the extension cable must be suitable

for the current rating of the appliance;
the extension cable must be routed
across surfaces or the floor (not
allowed to hang in mid air); ensure
the cable is out of the reach of
children and does not pose a tripping
hazard;
never use a damaged extension
cable;
do not connect any other appliances
to the mains socket as this could
overload the mains supply (do not use
multi-sockets).
The appliance must not be operated
with an external time switch or separate
remote control system, such as a wireless
remote control socket.
Do not touch the appliance, the mains
cable or the mains plug with wet hands.
Always unplug the mains cable by
pulling out the plug. Never pull on the
cable to remove the plug.
Never carry the appliance by the mains
cable.
Ensure that the mains cable is not kinked,
twisted or crushed.
Fully unwind the mains cable during use
to avoid overheating and scorching.
Keep the mains cable away from hot
surfaces, such as cooker hotplates.
If you are not going to use the appliance
for a while, remove the plug from the
wall socket. This is the only way to
ensure that the machine is completely
free of current.
4.4 For the safety of your child
4.5 Material damage
Warning! Children are often

unaware of danger and are injured
as a result. Please note therefore:
Only allow children to use this appliance
under the supervision of an adult.
Ensure the appliance is always kept out
of the reach of children.
Ensure that children cannot pull the
appliance down onto themselves with
the cable.
Ensure that the packing foil does not
become a deadly trap for a child.
Packing foils are not toys.
Caution! To avoid material damage,

please observe the following conditions.
The appliance must not be placed on
hot stoves, put in a hot oven or set up in
the vicinity of gas heaters and ondemand water heaters, as this could
cause damage.
Surface cleaners (furniture and work
surfaces) may contain ingredients that
could attack and soften the rubber feet.
In this case, place the appliance on a
non-flammable surface.
Do not place any items on the
appliance.
If the appliance is connected to the
mains it may be damaged by lightning
during thunderstorms.
5. Before using for the first time

1. Take the appliance and all the
accessory parts out of the packaging.
2. Check that the appliance shows no signs
of damage.
3. Clean the appliance before using it for

the first time. Observe the information in
the section entitled 6. Cleaning on
page 6.
6. Cleaning
Warning! To avoid the danger of
an electric shock or burning:
Always remove the plug from the
mains socket before starting to
clean the appliance.
Never immerse the appliance in
water, and protect it from
splashes and water droplets.
Caution! Never use abrasive, corrosive or
caustic cleaning materials. These could
damage the appliance as well as the nonstick coating.

Note: Do not leave it too long before

cleaning the appliance: otherwise food
residue may harden and be difficult to
remove.
1. Wipe the appliance inside and out with
a soft, damp cloth. You may also use a
little mild detergent, but should then
wipe over again with clean water.
2. Dry off using a dry cloth.
3. Clean the yoghurt pots 2 (pots and lids)
and lid 1 in the sink or in a dishwasher.
7. Making yoghurt
7.1 This is how yoghurt is made
To make your own yoghurt you will need:
1 l milk or cream
Note The amount of fat contained in
the yoghurt will be the same as the milk
you use. To make creamy yoghurt, do
not use milk but fresh cream, or add
some cream to your milk.
Several teaspoons of live yoghurt culture
(organic yoghurt, probiotic yoghurt,
home-made yoghurt, commercially
available yoghurt with live cultures).
Note Organic yoghurt, probiotic
yoghurt and your own home-made
yoghurt always contain live cultures.
Some commercially available yoghurts
are long-life products and no longer
contain any live cultures. Just try out your
"favourite yoghurt" as the starter culture
and see whether you are happy with the
result.
Yoghurt maker
approx. 10 - 12 hours' time
Milk contains lactose. It is converted into
lactic acid by lactic bacteria (yoghurt
culture), so allowing yoghurt to form. So this
process is successful, the yoghurt maker
ensures the best temperature for the yoghurt
cultures to easily propagate.
The milk should not contain any other
bacteria as this might contaminate the
yoghurt. Therefore ensure absolute
cleanliness, particularly where the yoghurt
pots are concerned. In addition, you can
boil the milk beforehand and allow it to cool
down to around 40C before adding the
yoghurt culture.

Notes
Home-made yoghurt is generally more
creamy and not as thick as commercial
products.
Water may separate off during
preparation, but this is normal. Just pour
away the water or mix it back in.
You can use the yoghurt you have made
to start off the next batch. The more
often you do this, the thinner your
yoghurt will become. If it becomes too
thin, you should start afresh with a new
yoghurt you have bought.
If you only use 900 ml milk, this will
make your yoghurt a bit thicker.
If you add 3 - 4 tablespoons of
powdered milk, this will make your
yoghurt thicker.
Yoghurt will become thicker if you let it
mature for a day in the refrigerator
before eating.
UHT milk does not need to be boiled
before making yoghurt.
Instead of using yoghurt cultures from
another yoghurt, you can also use
yoghurt powder bought from a health
food shop or online.
Yoghurt can also be made with soya
milk. In this case use a yoghurt made
with soya milk as the starter culture.
7.2 Making plain yoghurt

1. Boil 1 l milk.
2. Allow the milk to cool down until it is
lukewarm.
Note: If the milk is too hot when you
add the yoghurt culture, this will kill the
bacteria, and no yoghurt will be
produced.

3. Once the milk has cooled down, add

around 5 teaspoons of yoghurt
containing live yoghurt cultures.
4. Stir well to mix in the cultures properly.
5. Fill the milk into the yoghurt pots 2,
which have been carefully washed.
6. Screw the tops back on.
7. Put the pots in the base section 3.
8. Put the lid 1 on the base section 3.
9. Switch the yoghurt maker on using the
On/Off switch 4.
The indicator light in the On/Off switch
4 lights up.
After around 10 to 12 hours the yoghurt will
have set.
10.Switch the appliance off.
11. Remove the plug from the wall socket
after use. This is the only way to ensure
that the appliance is completely deenergized.
12. Allow the closed pots to cool down

slightly and then put them in the
refrigerator.
7.3 Ideas for recipes with yoghurt

You can use plain yoghurt to make yoghurt
containing fruit or yoghurt with any flavour.
There are no limits to your creativity! But do
not do this until after you have made the
yoghurt, or your recipe will not succeed.
Fruit yoghurt:
Mix in fresh fruit or a product made of fruit
such as jam.
Other flavours:
Add vanilla sugar, vanilla, nuts, chocolate
sprinkles, nougat, coconut flakes or other
flavourings to the yoghurt.
Tsatsiki:
Add chopped cucumber and garlic to the
yoghurt as well as a little olive oil.
8. Disposal
8.1 Appliance
The symbol with the crossedout rubbish bin on wheels
means that within the European
Union, the product must be
disposed of to a sorted rubbish
collection. This applies to the
product and all accessories which are
marked with this symbol. Marked products
must not be disposed of via the regular
domestic waste but must be handed in to a
recycling centre for electrical or electronic
devices. Recycling helps to reduce the use of
raw materials and to relieve the
environment. You can obtain information
about disposal and the location of your

nearest recycling centre from your local
waste management service, for example, or
Yellow Pages.
8.2 Packaging
If you wish to discard the packaging, please
observe the applicable environmental
regulations in your country.
9. HOYER Handel GmbH Warranty

Dear Customer,
You have a warranty on this product which
is valid for 3 years from the date of
purchase. In the event of this product being
defective, you have statutory rights against
the seller of the product. These statutory
rights are not limited by our warranty as set
out below.
Warranty conditions
The warranty period begins with the date of
purchase. Please keep the original till receipt
in a safe place. This is required as your
proof of purchase.
If a defect in materials or workmanship
occurs within three years of the date your
product was purchased, we will repair or
replace the product at our discretion at no
charge to you. This service under warranty
assumes that the defective product and the
proof of purchase (till receipt) are submitted
within the three-year period and that a brief
description in writing is provided of what the
defect is and when it occurred.
If the defect is covered by our warranty, the
repaired product or a new one will be sent
back to you. There is no new warranty
period following repair or replacement of
the product.
Warranty period and statutory claims

relating to defects
The warranty period is not extended when a
service is provided under warranty. This also
applies to replaced and repaired parts. Any
damage or defects present at purchase must
be reported immediately the product is
unpacked. Repairs incurred once the
warranty period has expired are
chargeable.

quality guidelines and was thoroughly
checked before being delivered.
The warranty applies to defective materials
or workmanship. This warranty does not
extend to product parts exposed to normal
wear and tear (and which can therefore be
considered wear parts) or to damage to
fragile parts such as switches, batteries or
parts made of glass.
This warranty is void if the product is
damaged or if it is not used or maintained
properly. All the information in the operating
instructions should be observed precisely to
ensure that the product is used properly.
It is essential to avoid intended uses and
actions which are discouraged or warned
against in the operating instructions.
The product is intended for only private use
and not for commercial purposes.
The warranty is void in the event of misuse,
incorrect treatment, use of force or
interference by anyone other than our
authorized service centre.

ensure that your claim is processed quickly.

defective, you can then send it Freepost
to the service address you are given,
enclosing the proof of purchase (till
receipt) and quoting what the defect is
and when it occurred.

Ureaj prilikom rada ne ostavljajte
nikada bez nadzora kako biste se
pravodobno mogli umijeati u sluaju da
doe do smetnji u funkcioniranju.
4.3 Zatita od elektrinog udara
Upozorenje! Naredni sigurnosni

naputci trebaju zatititi od
elektrinog udara.
Ako je ureaj oteen, nipoto se ne
smije koristiti. U tom sluaju dajte ureaj
popraviti od strane kvalificiranog
strunog osoblja. Podatke o kontaktima
nai ete u Servisni centar na
strani18.
Da bi se izbjegle opasnosti u sluaju
oteenja mrenog prikljunog voda
ovog ureaja, mora ga zamijeniti
proizvoa ili slina kvalificirana osoba.
U ureaj nipoto ne smiju prodrijeti voda
ili druge tekuine. Stoga:
nikada ne koristiti na otvorenom,
nikada ne uranjati u tekuine,
ne stavljati na rotilj predmete
napunjene tekuinom, npr. lonce,
nikada ne koristiti u vrlo vlanom
okoliu.
Ako ipak tekuina dospije u ureaj,
smjesta izvucite mreni utika i pustite da
kvalificirano struno osoblje popravi

Trebate izbjegavati koritenje produnih
kabela. To je doputeno samo pod
odreenim uvjetima:

postaviti letee: ne smije biti uzrok
spoticanja i ne smije biti dostupan
djeci.
produni kabel nikako ne smije biti
oteen.
drugi ureaji ne smiju biti prikljueni
na istu elektrinu utinicu, budui da u
tom sluaju moe doi do
preoptereenja mree napajanja
elektrinom energijom (zabranjeno
koritenje viestrukih utinica!).
Ureaj se ne smije putati u pogon
s vanjskim uklopnim satom ili odvojenim
sustavom za daljinsko djelovanje, kao
to je na primjer beina utinica.
Nikada ne primajte mokrim rukama
ureaj, mreni kabel ili mreni utika.
Mreni kabel uvijek izvlaite na utikau.
Nikada ne povlaite sam kabel.
Nikada nemojte nositi ureaj na
mrenom kabelu.
Pripazite da se mreni kabel nikada ne
prelomi ili prignjei.

radi kako biste izbjegli pregrijavanje i
pregorijevanje.

mekanom i vlanom krpom. Moete
upotrijebiti i malo blagog sredstva za
pranje sua, no u tom sluaju morate
ureaj jo jednom obrisati istom
vodom.
2. Naknadno obriite suhom krpom.

sudoperu ili u perilici posua.
7. Priprema jogurta
7.1 Ovako nastaje jogurt
Da bi sami pripremili jogurt, potrebno Vam
je:
1 l mlijeka ili vrhnja
Naputak: Udio masnoe u jogurtu
ravna se prema udjelu masnoe mlijeka
koje koristite. Da bi dobili jogurt od
vrhnja ne uzimajte mlijeko nego svjee
vrhnje ili dodajte mlijeku odgovarajuu
koliinu vrhnja.
Nekoliko ajnih liica ive jogurtove
kulture (bio jogurt, probiotski jogurt,
jogurt iz vlastite proizvodnje, kupovni
jogurt, kupovni jogurt sa ivim
kulturama).
Naputak: Bio jogurt, probiotski jogurt
ili jogurt iz vlastite proizvodnje sadre
uvijek ive kulture. Neki kupovni jogurti
pripremljeni su za trajnost i stoga vie ne
sadre ive kulture. Probajte uzeti Va
omiljeni jogurt jednostavno za dobavu
kultura i ocijenite da li ste zadovoljni
rezultatom.
Ureaj za pripremu jogurta
oko 10 - 12 sati vremena
U mlijeku se nalazi mlijeni eer. Njega
mlijene bakterije (jogurtova kultura)
pretvaraju u mlijenu kiselinu, pri emu se
stvara jogurt. Da bi to dobro uspjelo ureaj
za pripremu jogurta daje optimalnu
temperaturu kod koje se jogurtove kulture
mogu dobro razmnaati.

U mlijeku nisu doputene druge bakterije

poto one mogu pokvariti jogurt. Stoga
uvijek pazite na istou, posebno kod aa
za jogurt. Osim toga moete prethodno
prokuhati mlijeko i ponovo pustiti da se
ohladi na oko 40C prije nego to dodate
jogurtovu kulturu.
Napomene:
Vlastiti jogurt je najee vie kremast i
nije toliko vrst kao kupovni.
Prilikom pripreme moe se odvojiti neto
vode. To je normalno. Ocijedite vodu ili
je pomijeajte.
S vlastitim jogurtom moete zaeti
slijedei. to ee to uiniti to e jogurt
iz vlastite proizvodnje biti sve rjei. Ako
postane suvie rijedak, trebalo bi
ponovo poeti sa svjeim kupovnim
jogurtom.
Ako uzmete samo 900 ml mlijeka, jogurt
bude neto vri.
Jogurt od mlijeka s najmanje 3,5 %
sadraja masnoa bude vri nego
jogurt od obranog mlijeka
Ako dodate 3 4 lice mlijeka u prahu,
jogurt bude vri.
Jogurt bude vri ako ga ostavite jo 1
dan u hladnjaku da bi dozreo.
H-mlijeko nije potrebno prekuhati prije
pripreme jogurta.
Umjesto jogurtovih kultura iz nekog
drugog jogurta moe se koristiti jogurtov
prah iz trgovine zdravom hranom ili
putem interneta.
Jogurt se moe proizvoditi i iz sojinog
mlijeka. U tom sluaju koristite kulture iz
jogurta koji je takoer proizveden od
sojinog mlijeka.

7.2 Priprema prirodnog jogurta

1. Prokuhajte 1 l mlijeka.
2. Pustite da se mlijeko ohladi tako da
bude jo samo mlano.
Naputak: Ako dodate jogurtovu
kulturu dok je mlijeko jo vrue, bakterije
e odumrijeti i nee doi do stvaranja
jogurta.
3. Dodajte ohlaenom mlijeku oko 5 ajnih
liica ive jogurtove kulture.
4. Dobro promijeajte kako bi se kulture
dobro rasporedile.
5. Napunite mlijeko u paljivo oiene
staklenke sa vijanim poklopcem.
6. Zatvorite staklenke.
7. Stavite staklenke u ureaj za pripremu
jogurta.
8. Stavite poklopac na ureaj za pripremu
jogurta.
9. Ukljuite ureaj za pripremu jogurta.
Nakon oko 10 do 12 sati jogurt je vrst.
10.Iskljuite ureaj.
11. Nakon uporabe izvucite mreni utika iz

mrene utinice. Samo tako je ureaj
potpuno odvojen od struje.
12. Pustite zatvorene staklenke da se malo
ohlade i stavite ih onda u hladnjak.
7.3 Ideje za recepte od jogurta

Iz prirodnog jogurta moete pripremiti
jogurt s voem ili jogurt s bilo kojim okusom.
Vaoj mati nisu postavljene nikakve
granice: To se meutim smije uiniti tek
nakon pripreme jogurta, poto inae
jogurt nee uspjeti.
Voni jogurt:
Umijeajte svjee voe ili vonu masu kao
npr. dem u jogurt.
Drugi okusi:

8. Odlaganje otpada

7. Pregtirea iaurtului
7.1 Modul de preparare a iaurtului
Pentru a prepara iaurt, avei nevoie de:
1 l lapte sau smntn
Observaie: Coninutul de grsime al
iaurtului corespunde coninutului de
grsime al laptelui utilizat. Pentru a
obine iaurt din smntn, nu folosii
lapte, ci smntn proaspt sau
adugai n lapte o cantitate
corespunztoare de smntn.
Cteva lingurie de culturi vii de iaurt
(iaurt bio, iaurt probiotic, iaurt preparat
n cas, iaurt din comer cu culturi vii).
Observaie: Iaurtul bio, iaurtul
probiotic sau iaurtul dumneavoastr
preparat n cas conin ntotdeauna
culturi vii. Unele iaurturi din comer
conin conservai i nu conin culturi vii.
Testai iaurtul dumneavoastr preferat
ca pe un furnizor de culturi i apreciai
singur, dac suntei mulumit de rezultat.

Laptele conine lactoz. Aceasta este
transformat n acid lactic de bacteriile din
lapte (cultur de iaurt), din care se
formeaz ulterior iaurtul. Pentru a obine

Avei grij s fie totul curat, mai ales
borcanele pentru iaurt. De asemenea, putei
fierbe laptele nainte i putei s-l lsai s se
rceasc pn la cca. 40C, nainte de a
aduga cultura de iaurt.
Observaii:
Iaurtul preparat n cas este mai cremos
i nu are consistena iaurtului cumprat;
La preparare se poate acumula puin
ap la suprafa. Este normal. Aruncai
apa sau amestecai-o cu iaurtul.
Din iaurtul preparat n cas putei s
facei urmtoarea porie de iaurt. Cu ct
repetai procedura mai mult, cu att
iaurtul preparat va fi mai subire. Dac
devine prea subire, ar trebui s ncepei
din nou, cu un iaurt proaspt, cumprat.
Dac folosii numai 900 ml lapte, iaurtul
va fi mai consistent.
Iaurtul preparat din lapte cu coninut de
grsime de 3,5 % va fi mai consistent
dect iaurtul preparat din lapte
degresat.
Dac adugai 3 - 4 linguri de lapte
praf, iaurtul va fi mai consistent.
Iaurtul devine mai consistent, dac l
lsai s se matureze 1 zi n frigider,
nainte de a-l consuma.
Laptele UHT nu trebuie fiert nainte de
prepararea iaurtului.
n loc de culturile de iaurt din alt iaurt, se
poate utiliza iaurt sub form de praf

naturiste sau de pe internet.
Iaurtul se poate prepara i din lapte de
soia. Pentru aceasta trebuie s utilizai
ca furnizor de culturi, un iaurt preparat
de asemenea din lapte de soia.
7.2 Prepararea iaurtului natural

1. Fierbei 1 l de lapte.
2. Lsai laptele s se rceasc pn
devine cldu i se poate atinge cu
mna.
Observaie: Dac adugai cultura
de iaurt ct laptele este nc fierbinte,
bacteriile mor i nu se mai formeaz
iaurtul.
3. Adugai cca. 5 lingurie de iaurt cu
culturi vii de iaurt n laptele rcit.
4. Amestecai bine, astfel nct culturile s
se distribuie bine.
5. Turnai laptele n borcanele filetate,
curate cu grij.
6. nurubai capacele borcanelor.
7. Aezai borcanele n aparatul de
preparat iaurt.
8. Aezai capacul pe aparatul de
preparat iaurt.
9. Pornii aparatul de preparat iaurt.
Dup cca. 10 pn la 12 ore, iaurtul are

consistena potrivit.
10.Oprii aparatul.
11. Dup utilizare, tragei techerul de reea
din priza de reea. Numai aa aparatul
este scos complet de sub tensiune.

7.3 Idei de reete pentru preparate din

iaurt
Din iaurtul natural putei face iaurt cu fructe
sau iaurt cu un gust conform preferinelor
dumneavoastr. Fantezia dumneavoastr nu
are limite aici. Aceste preparate se pot face
numai dup pregtirea iaurtului, altfel
iaurtul nu v va reui.
Iaurt cu fructe:
Amestecai iaurtul cu fructe proaspete sau
fructe preparate, ca de exemplu, dulcea.
Alte gusturi:
Amestecai iaurtul cu zahr vanilat, vanilie,
nuci, ciocolat granulat, nuga, fulgi de
cocos sau alte arome.
Tzatziki:
Amestecai iaurtul cu castravei tiai mrunt,
usturoi i puin ulei de msline.
8. Dezafectarea
8.1 Aparatul

celui mai apropiat centru de reciclare primii,
de ex., de la serviciul de curenie a
oraului, sau din Pagini Galbene.

9. Garania oferit de HOYER Handel GmbH

Cu acest produs beneficiai de o garanie de
3 ani de la data achiziionrii. n cazul unor
defecte ale produsului, beneficiai de drepturile legale mpotriva unitii de comercializare a produsului. Aceste drepturi nu sunt
limitate de garania oferit de noi conform
condiiilor urmtoare.
Condiii de garanie
Perioada de garanie ncepe la data achiziionrii. V rugm pstrai bonul de cas
original. Acest document este necesar ca
dovad a cumprrii.
n cazul apariiei unor defecte de material
sau de fabricaie n termen de trei ani de la
data cumprrii, v vom repara sau v vom
nlocui produsul n mod gratuit, la discreia
noastr. Pentru acordarea garaniei, este
necesar ca n perioada de garanie de trei
ani s fie prezentate aparatul defect i
dovada cumprrii (bonul de cas) mpreun cu o descriere succint a problemei i
a datei la care a aprut.
Dac defectul beneficiaz de garania
noastr, vi se va returna produsul reparat
sau unul nou. Reparaia sau nlocuirea produsului nu implic nceperea unei noi perioade de garanie.

Perioada de garanie i preteniile legale de

daune
Acordarea garaniei nu prelungete perioada de garanie. Aceast regul se aplic i
n cazul pieselor nlocuite sau reparate.
Eventualele daune i defecte existente n
momentul cumprrii trebuie notificate imediat dup dezambalare. Dup expirarea
garaniei, reparaiile necesare vor fi efectuate contra cost.
Obiectul garaniei
Aparatul a fost produs n complet conformitate cu standarde de calitate stricte i a fost
testat cu atenie nainte de livrare.
Acordarea garaniei se refer la defecte de
material sau de fabricaie. Nu beneficiaz
de garanie piesele produsului care sunt
expuse uzurii n condiii normale i care pot
fi considerate piese de schimb, i nici defectele aprute la piesele fragile, de exemplu la
comutatoare, acumulatoare sau piese fabricate din sticl.
Garania este anulat n cazul n care produsul se defecteaz din cauza utilizrii sau
ntreinerii neadecvate. n vederea utilizrii
corecte a aparatului, trebuie respectate cu
strictee toate indicaiile din instruciunile de
utilizare.
Trebuie evitate cu desvrire toate aplicaiile i aciunile contraindicate sau nerecomandate n instruciunile de utilizare.

Garania este anulat n cazul utilizrii abuzive i incorecte, a forrii i interveniilor
care nu sunt efectuate de centrul nostru de

Procedura de garanie
Pentru a asigura procesarea rapid a solicitrii dvs., v rugm inei cont de

funcionare sau alte defecte, v rugm
contactai mai nti centrul de service
identificat mai jos, telefonic sau prin
e-mail.
Apoi, putei expedia fr taxe de
transport produsul constatat defect,
mpreun cu dovada cumprrii (bonul
de cas) i descrierea defectului i a
momentului apariiei, la adresa de
service care vi s-a comunicat.

Der Joghurtbereiter SilverCrest SJB15B1 ist
zum Zubereiten von Joghurt geeignet. Die
Zubereitung anderer Lebensmittel ist nicht
zulssig.
Verwenden Sie den Joghurtbereiter ausschlielich innerhalb Ihres Haushaltes und
niemals im Freien.
Dieses Gert ist fr den Einsatz in Privathaushalten und nicht fr den gewerblichen
Einsatz geeignet.
Das Gert ist ebenfalls geeignet fr:

Verwenden Sie das Gert nur fr den

Verwendungszweck
(siehe 1.1 Verwendungszweck auf
Seite 45).

Lassen Sie das Gert whrend des
Betriebes niemals unbeaufsichtigt, um
rechtzeitig einschreiten zu knnen, falls
Funktionsstrungen auftreten.
4.3 Schutz vor elektrischem Schlag

Warnung! Die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise sollen Sie vor einem
elektrischen Schlag schtzen.
Wenn das Gert beschdigt ist, darf das
Gert keinesfalls benutzt werden. Lassen
Sie das Gert in diesem Falle von qualifiziertem Fachpersonal reparieren. Die
Kontaktdaten finden Sie in Service-Center auf Seite 52.
Wenn die Netzanschlussleitung dieses
Gertes beschdigt wird, muss sie durch
den Hersteller oder eine hnlich qualifizierte Person ersetzt werden, um
Gefhrdungen zu vermeiden.
In das Gert drfen keinesfalls Wasser
oder andere Flssigkeiten eindringen.
Daher:
niemals im Freien einsetzen
niemals in Flssigkeit tauchen
keine mit Flssigkeit gefllten Gegenstnde, z.B. Tpfe, darauf stellen
niemals in sehr feuchter Umgebung
einsetzen.
Falls doch einmal Flssigkeit in das
Gert gelangt, ziehen Sie sofort den
Netzstecker und lassen das Gert von
SJB15B1
qualifiziertem Fachpersonal reparieren.

Die Benutzung von Verlngerungskabeln
sollten Sie vermeiden. Sie ist nur unter
ganz bestimmten Voraussetzungen
gestattet:
das Verlngerungskabel muss fr die
Stromstrke des Gertes geeignet sein
das Verlngerungskabel darf nicht
fliegend verlegt sein: es darf nicht
zur Stolperfalle werden oder von Kindern erreichbar sein
das Verlngerungskabel darf keinesfalls beschdigt sein
es drfen keine weiteren Gerte als
dieses Gert an der Netzsteckdose
angeschlossen werden, da es sonst zu
einer berlastung des Stromnetzes
kommen kann (Verbot von Mehrfachsteckdosen!).
Das Gert darf nicht mit einer externen
Zeitschaltuhr oder einem separaten Fernwirksystem, wie zum Beispiel einer Funksteckdose, betrieben werden.
Fassen Sie das Gert, die Netzanschlussleitung oder den Netzstecker niemals mit feuchten Hnden an.
Ziehen Sie die Netzanschlussleitung
stets am Netzstecker heraus. Ziehen Sie
niemals an der Netzanschlussleitung
selber.
Tragen Sie das Gert nie an der Netzanschlussleitung.
Achten Sie darauf, dass die Netzanschlussleitung nie geknickt oder
gequetscht wird.
Wickeln Sie die Netzanschlussleitung im
Betrieb vollstndig ab, um eine berhitzung und Durchschmoren zu verhindern.
Halten Sie die Netzanschlussleitung von
heien Flchen (z.B. Herdplatte) fern.

4.5 Schutz vor Sachschden

Vorsicht! Um Sachschden zu vermeiden,
beachten Sie folgende Bestimmungen.
Das Gert darf nicht auf heie Herdplatten gestellt, in den heien Backofen
geschoben oder in der Nhe von Gasund Durchlauferhitzern aufgestellt werden, da dies zu Beschdigungen fhren
knnte.
Es kann nicht ausgeschlossen werden,
dass Pflegemittel fr Ablageflchen
(Mbel) Bestandteile enthalten, die die
Gummife angreifen und aufweichen.
Stellen Sie in diesem Falle das Gert auf
eine nicht brennbare Unterlage.
Stellen Sie keine Gegenstnde auf das
Gert.
Bei einem Gewitter kann das am Stromnetz angeschlossene Gert durch Blitzschlag beschdigt werden.
5. Vor dem ersten Gebrauch

1. Nehmen Sie das Gert und alle Zubehrteile aus der Verpackung.
2. berprfen Sie, dass das Gert keine
Beschdigungen aufweist.
3. Reinigen Sie das Gert vor der ersten

Benutzung. Beachten Sie hierzu die Hinweise in dem Kapitel 6. Reinigen auf
Seite 48.

Tauchen Sie das Gert nie in
Wasser ein und schtzen Sie es
vor Spritz- und Tropfwasser.

Vorsicht! Verwenden Sie keinesfalls scheuernde, tzende oder kratzende Reinigungsmittel. Dadurch knnte das Gert
beschdigt werden.
Hinweis: Warten Sie nicht zu lange mit
dem Reinigen, damit Speisereste nicht festtrocknen und sich dann nur noch schwer entfernen lassen.
1. Wischen Sie das Gert innen und auen

mit einem weichen, feuchten Tuch ab.
Sie knnen auch etwas mildes Splmittel
benutzen, sollten dann aber mit klarem
Wasser noch einmal nachwischen.
2. Wischen Sie mit einem trockenen Tuch

nach.
3. Reinigen Sie die Joghurtglser 2 (Glser
und Deckel) und den Deckel 1 im Splbecken oder in einer Splmaschine.
7. Joghurt zubereiten
7.1 So entsteht Joghurt
Um selber Joghurt zu machen, bentigen
Sie:
1 l Milch oder Sahne
Hinweis: Der Fettgehalt des Joghurts
entspricht
dem
Fettgehalt
der
verwendeten Milch. Um Sahnejoghurt
zu erhalten, nehmen Sie keine Milch,
sondern frische Sahne oder geben der
Milch entsprechend Sahne hinzu.
Einige Teelffel lebende Joghurtkultur
(Bioghurt, probiotischer Joghurt, selbstgemachter Joghurt, handelsblicher
Joghurt mit lebenden Kulturen).
Hinweis: Bioghurt, probiotischer
Joghurt oder Ihr selbstgemachter Joghurt
enthalten immer lebende Kulturen. Einige
handelsbliche Joghurts sind haltbar
gemacht und enthalten keine lebenden
Kulturen mehr. Probieren Sie Ihren
Lieblingsjoghurt einfach mal als
Kulturenlieferant aus, und beurteilen Sie
selber, ob Sie mit dem Ergebnis
zufrieden sind.
Joghurtbereiter
ca. 10 - 12 Stunden Zeit

In der Milch befindet sich Milchzucker. Dieser wird von Milchbakterien (Joghurtkultur)
in Milchsure umgewandelt, wobei sich der
Joghurt bildet. Damit dies gut gelingt,
erzeugt der Joghurtbereiter die optimale
Temperatur, bei der sich die Joghurtkulturen
gut vermehren knnen.
In der Milch drfen sich keine weiteren Bakterien befinden, da diese den Joghurt verderben knnten. Achten Sie daher immer
auf Sauberkeit, besonders bei den Joghurtglsern. Auerdem knnen Sie die Milch
vorher abkochen und wieder auf etwa
40C abkhlen lassen, bevor Sie die
Joghurtkultur zugeben.
Hinweise:
Eigener Joghurt ist meist cremiger und
nicht so fest, wie gekaufter.
Bei der Zubereitung kann sich etwas
Wasser absetzen. Dies ist normal.
Gieen Sie das Wasser weg oder
rhren Sie es unter.
Mit dem eigenen Joghurt knnen Sie
den nchsten Ansatz machen. Je fter
Sie dies wiederholen, umso dnner wird
der erzeugte Joghurt. Wird er zu dnn,
sollten Sie wieder mit einem frischen
gekauften Joghurt beginnen.
Wenn Sie nur 900 ml Milch nehmen,
wird der Joghurt etwas fester.
Wenn Sie 3 - 4 Esslffel Milchpulver
zugeben, wird der Joghurt fester.

Der Joghurt wird fester, wenn Sie ihn vor

dem Verzehr noch 1 Tag im Khlschrank
reifen lassen.
H-Milch braucht vor der Joghurtbereitung nicht abgekocht zu werden.
Statt Joghurtkulturen aus einem anderen
Joghurt kann auch Joghurtpulver aus
dem Reformhaus oder Internet verwendet werden.
Joghurt lsst sich auch aus Sojamilch
herstellen. Verwenden Sie dann als Kulturenlieferant einen Joghurt, der ebenfalls aus Sojamilch hergestellt wurde.
7.2 Naturjoghurt herstellen

1. Kochen Sie 1 l Milch ab.
2. Lassen Sie die Milch abkhlen, bis sie
nur noch handwarm ist.
Hinweis: Wenn Sie die Joghurtkultur
zugeben, solange die Milch noch zu
hei ist, sterben die Bakterien ab und es
entsteht kein Joghurt.
3. Geben Sie zu der abgekhlten Milch ca.
5 Teelffel Joghurt mit lebenden Joghurtkulturen.
4. Rhren Sie gut um, damit sich die Kulturen gut verteilen.
5. Fllen Sie die Milch in die sorgfltig
gereinigten Joghurtglser 2.
6. Schrauben Sie die Glser zu.
7. Stellen Sie die Glser in das Unterteil 3.
8. Setzen Sie den Deckel 1 auf das Unterteil 3.
9. Schalten Sie den Joghurtbereiter am
Ein- /Ausschalter 4 ein.
Die Kontroll-Lampe im Ein-/Ausschalter 4
leuchtet.
Nach ca. 10 bis 12 Stunden ist der Joghurt
stichfest.
10.Schalten Sie das Gert aus.

11. Ziehen Sie nach Gebrauch den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose. Nur so
ist das Gert vllig stromfrei.
12. Lassen Sie die verschlossenen Glser
noch etwas abkhlen und stellen Sie sie
dann in den Khlschrank.
7.3 Rezeptideen fr
Joghurtmischerzeugnisse
Sie knnen aus dem Naturjoghurt Fruchtjoghurt oder Joghurt mit beliebiger
Geschmacksrichtung herstellen. Ihrer Fantasie sind keine Grenzen gesetzt. Dies darf
aber immer erst nach der Joghurtbereitung
passieren, da der Joghurt sonst nicht gelingt.
Fruchtjoghurt:
Mischen Sie frische Frchte oder eine Fruchtzubereitung, wie z.B. Konfitre, unter den
Joghurt.
Andere Geschmacksrichtungen:
Mischen Sie Vanillezucker, Vanille, Nsse,
Schokostreusel, Nougat, Kokosflocken oder
andere Aromen unter den Joghurt.
Tsatsiki:
Rhren Sie kleingeschnitte Gurken, Knoblauch und etwas Olivenl in den Joghurt.
8. Entsorgung
8.1 Gert
Das Symbol der durchgestrichenen Abfalltonne auf Rdern
bedeutet, dass das Produkt in
der Europischen Union einer
getrennten
Mllsammlung
zugefhrt werden muss. Dies
gilt fr das Produkt und alle mit diesem Symbol
gekennzeichneten
Zubehrteile.
Gekennzeichnete Produkte drfen nicht ber
den normalen Hausmll entsorgt werden,
sondern mssen an einer Annahmestelle fr
das Recycling von elektrischen und elektroni-
schen Gerten abgegeben werden. Recycling hilft, den Verbrauch von Rohstoffen zu
reduzieren und die Umwelt zu entlasten.
Informationen zur Entsorgung und zur Lage
des nchsten Recyclinghofes erhalten Sie
z.B. bei Ihrer Stadtreinigung oder in den
Gelben Seiten.
8.2 Verpackung
Wenn Sie die Verpackung entsorgen mchten, achten Sie auf die entsprechenden
Umweltvorschriften in Ihrem Land.
