Ministry Philosophy: As a follower of Jesus

Christ, I am passionate about seeing lost people
come to know the Savior. I love witnessing the
hunger and satisfaction of one who hears Gods
word, understands, and goes out with joy to bear
fruit. Therefore, my focus is people and building
up the community of faith through serving my
fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord.

Conversion: As a child I was raised going to

church, and I learned about Jesus through Sunday
School and a yearly VBS. However, this
foundation didnt stay with me into my teenage
years as I walked away from attending church
and the faith altogether. My dads death in 2005
caused me to reckon with my own mortality, so I
began an earnest search for truth. God sent one of
His servants to reach out to me, and I was born
again in the Fall of 2007 just after my twenty-first

Calling: A Christian co-worker at my first job

out of college noticed that I was going through an
internal struggle. She perceived my passion for
Gods word and suggested that I think about
pursuing full-time ministry. Now, as Ive gone
through seminary training, my calling to full-time
ministry has been strengthened and solidified.

Jeff and Caitlin

Childhood: I grew up in Birmingham,

Alabama along with my two sisters,
Amanda and Joanna. My mothers name is
Mary, and my late fathers name is Larry.

Marital Commitment: I met my

wife, Caitlin, in 2008 at The University of

Alabama. We attended the same high
school but didnt get to know one another
until college. Caitlin appreciated my
newfound passion for the Lord, and I
appreciated my wifes boldness to speak
about her faith as well as her passion for
reaching youth. We got married in the Fall
of 2010 and recently celebrated four years
together. Currently, my wife teaches
Spanish at a public high school, and we
are expecting our first child in May 2015!

Interests: singing, playing guitar,

sports of all kinds, and taking care of our

pug, Ralph.
