Dear Reporter,
Ogier Gardens is proud to announce its first homecoming week
competition to the University of North Florida community. The garden is
located on UNFs campus and is dedicated to providing students an array of
produce and an assortment of workshops to teach them how to grow their
own produce and recycle as well as buy locally grown produce in the
Jacksonville area.
During UNFs homecoming week Fest of All on
Wednesday, Feb. 25, nearly 16 student organizations involving fraternities,
sororities, sports teams and clubs are expected to attend the event. The
students in the organizations listed above will help design and paint an Ogier
Gardens recycling bin to be used to collect recyclable goods throughout
homecoming week. The bins will be also used at OZ,UNFs first outdoor
music festival.
