FACT 3:

0.005

0.00000000001

0.573218

When reading a decimal fraction the digits are simply read out one by one.
357.842
78.78
401.401

FACT 4:

0.375

Three hundred fifty-seven point eight, four, two
Seventy-eight point seven, eight
Four hundred one point four, zero, one

To compare decimal fractions, line them up by their decimal points, and
compare them by the same number of digits.
To compare 0.4 to 0.387 write them up as 0.400 to 0.387. We get, 0.4 > 0.387
To compare 0.0912 to 0.1, write them up as 0.0912 to 0.1000. We get, 0.0912 < 0.1

FACT 5:

To arrange decimal numbers by size, line the numbers up by their decimal
points; and then have smallest to largest digits in the left most columns.
Arrange the following numbers by size:
827.673, 0.0023, 0.3467, 80.08, 0.069, 9073.9073, 6.577, 0.5, 0.33
First make the number of digits on both sides of decimal point the same.
0827.6730, 0000.0023, 0000.3467, 0080.0800, 0000.0690, 9073.9073, 0006.5770,
0000.5000, 0000.3300
Arrange them by smallest digit in the leftmost column.
0000.0023, 0000.0690, 0000.3300, 0000.3467, 0000.5000, 0006.5770, 0080.0800,
0827.6730, 9073.9073,
Remove the preceding and trailing zeroes.
0.0023, 0.069, 0.33, 0.3467, 0.5, 6.577, 80.08, 827.673, 9073.9073,
