Fair Use and Copyright

By: Kathlynn Roddy

What is Copyright?
It is a legal way of
protecting someone
else's work.
This helps the creator
protect their work
without someone else
stealing it.

Fair Use Helps Us

It allows us to use information created by
others to help our own research. We need it in
order to support our research and help make a
point. Without it, it would make research
hard. So in return we need to make sure we
are using it for the right reasons and give
credit to the creators.

Remember

If we dont know if we can

use it:
-Refer back to the video
-Use the decision tree
-Ask the teacher
