MOTIVATION: AS GLOBALISATION MAKES THE PROCESS OF CHANGE A WAY OF LIFE,


WORKERS NEED TO BECOME MORE ADAPTABLE AND OPEN TO CHANGE, SO THAT THEY
CAN IMPROVE THEIR EMPLOYABILITY. THE SAME APPLIES TO ENTERPRISES, WHICH
ALSO NEED TO BE MORE FLEXIBLE TO ADAPT TO NEW CIRCUMSTANCES.

PRIORITY AXIS 3: INCREASING ADAPTABILITY OF WORKERS AND ENTERPRISES

PROJECT GENERAL OBJECTIVE: TAKE MEASURES AND ASSIST IN THE IMPROVEMENT


OF THE ADAPTABILITY OF ENTERPRISES, ESPECIALLY SMES, AND THEIR EMPLOYEES
TO THE CHANGING ECONOMIC CONDITIONS IN CLUJ COUNTY, IN ORDER TO REMAIN
COMPETITIVE AND PROVIDE ORGANISATIONAL SOLUTIONS, PROMOTE
ORGANISATIONAL AND EMPLOYMENT FLEXIBILITY (APPLYING DIFFERENT FORMS OF
WORK ORGANISATION AND FLEXIBLE WORKING ARRANGEMENTS) AND FUNCTIONAL
FLEXIBILITY (CHANGES IN THE SCOPE OF EMPLOYEE TASKS AS THE FIRM’S TASKS
CHANGE). ASSIST IN DEVELOPING A SELFSUSTAINING HUMAN RESOURCES
DEVELOPMENT CAPACITY WITHIN SELECTED ENTERPRISES IN CLUJ COUNTY AND
PROVIDE SOLUTIONS FOR MODERNISING WORK ORGANISATION.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: - PROVIDE ASSISTANCE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND


IMPLEMENTATION OF SPECIFIC METHODS (ACCORDING TO EACH CASE) FOR FLEXIBLE
ORGANIZATION OF WORK, INCLUDING THE INTRODUCTION OF COSTUMIZED PRACTICES
TO IMPROVE WORKING CONDITIONS IN EACH COMPANY.

- INCREASE THE COMPETENCE LEVEL OF THE STAFF AND


THE PROFESSIONAL AND ENTREPRENEURIAL KNOWLEDGE OF THE MANAGERS AND
BUSINESS OWNERS.

- IMPLEMENT A SET OF ACTIVITIES TO ENCOURAGE A


NEW APPROACH AND RECONCILIATION OF WORK AND FAMILY LIFE, SUPPORT "FAMILY
FRIENDLY" JOB AGREMMENTS AND FLEXIBLE WORKING HOURS FOR ELDERLY
EMPLOYEES.
- PROVIDIDE TRAINING FOR ENTREPRENEURS AND
MANAGERS TO DEVELOP THE SKILLS NECESSARY FOR THE INTERNAL
REORGANIZATION OF THE COMPANY, UNDERSTAND THE BENEFITS OF REDUCED
WORKING HOURS (PART-TIME, TEMPORARY WORK, JOB ROTATION ETC.), INCLUDING
PILOT ACTIVITIES TO IMPLEMENT NON-TRADITIONAL FORMS OF WORK ORGANIZATION.

- TRAINING ENTREPRENEURS, MANAGERS AND


EMPLOYEES IN THE FIELD OF TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION, INCLUDING ICT.

- IDENTIFICATION, ANALYSIS AND STUDY OF EUROPEAN MODELS TO IMPROVE THE


ADAPTABILITY OF ENTERPRISES AND WORKERS – TRANSFER OF BEST PRACTICES;

The applicant for this project is my employer, the Cluj Chamber of Commerce and Industry,
which is an association of companies and entrepreneurs from Cluj County.
This project is not submitted for financing and I only submitted this document for academic
purposes. If, I will receive a good evaluation from Mrs. Iacob, than I will have my boss look
at it and probably submit it to the financing authority.
