Okay, now as it set up, I need a distraction for them so that I can leave,

can’t be easy though for sure.

Ten minutes later, the pilot came on over the intercom, announcing
our imminent landing. The seat belt lights dinged and flashed. The
plane began to descend and touched town with a jarring impact.

After took our luggage, I searched a way for my escape. Keep

blocking my thoughts,

“Daddy, what car would we ride?”

Daddy gave me a questioning look, as he knew I was blocking my

thoughts, “Jasper sent us my Volvo. Let’s go.” He grabbed Momma’s
hand and headed to the exit door. Momma looked back at me, she
still felt guilty. Saw I didn’t move at all, she stopped and squeezed
Daddy’s hand gently.

“Edward.” She murmured.

“Bella love?” Daddy turned to her slowly.

She gestured toward me and Daddy looked at me.

“What’s wrong, Ness?” he asked.

“Uhm… I wanna buy something for Grandpa Charlie. May I?” Ugh! I
smacked my forehead, literally. Such a weak excuse!
Daddy raised his eyebrow. I believed he knew something was
wrong. But… “Okay, let’s go.” He said.

Oops! They wanna come with me? “I prefer to go alone Dad, I

haven’t decide what I would buy. I’m sure you will be bored waiting
for me go around the airport.”

He became utterly quiet. The silent was eerie. I tried not to shift
nervously.

“Let her go alone, Edward.” Momma broke the silent. Obviously she
strived to amend her fault by persuade Daddy to give me his
permission. I smiled triumphantly in my thought.

“But just promise me you won’t be reckless sweetheart.” She said to

me tenderly.

Tried to be as convincing as I can, I smiled back at her.

“I promise Mom.”
