To whom it may concern:
I am writing to inform you that I am applying for the open 8th grade
Mathematics teaching position open in your school district. I was made
aware of this position through personal connections within your school
district.
I am a recent graduate of the University of Mount Union, through which
I obtained licensure to teach grades 4-9 with a concentration in Mathematics
and History. During my time of study at the University of Mount Union, I was
given several opportunities to learn impactful pedagogical techniques as well
as the chance to implement these techniques in classrooms with diverse
students. I am a young, enthusiastic educator who is eager to get into a
classroom, build trusting relationships with students, and give all students
the opportunity to succeed.
Enclosed is my professional resume for your reviewing. I would love to
have the opportunity to meet and talk about my resume. I will also be
following up in a week to check on the reviewing process of my resume with
hopes of setting up a date at that time. Thank you for your time and careful
consideration.
Sincerely,

Zachary Maenz
