Interview 1 questions (Stephen Thompson)


1. Do you think there is too much money in football these days and do you think this is a good
thing or a bad thing?
2. Is this creating a gap between the premier league top from bottom
3. Do you think this is hampering the chances of home grown players coming up the system?
4. What has this done for the recognition of the premier league has this helped it or lower the
standard?
5. Do you think the money in football will continue to rise or will it decrease?

Interview 2 questions (Conor Okkus)

1. Are foreign players being bought effecting you chances of getting into the first team at West
Ham or are you confident in your own ability?
2. But does this put extra pressure on you making you perform 100% every game because your
position is under threat?
3. Do you think there is too much money in football these days and do you think this is a good
thing or a bad thing?
4. I know that West Ham is stable now, but about a month were things looking bleak at the
club with maybe players being sold, in a funny way do you think that would have helped
you because then you could have got more chances in the first team?
5. Being a football player, you obviously see other players, have you seen the bad effects of the
money in football what could happened to other players?

3. As a Sunday league manger are you sometimes frustrated that all your best players might
not get noticed because teams are sometimes more interested about investing money into other
players most likely foreign?
4 If that is the case then how o you keep your players motivated?
5 Do you think that that this is going to change or will it continue and get even bigger.
