and the importance of having good nutrition .

LESSON OUTLINE :
INDUCTION (Class/10 minutes)
Students view computer simulation on Nitrogen Cycle.
ACTIVITY 1(Class/15 minutes)
Students discuss
1. the processes and types of bacteria involved in
the Nitrogen Cycle,
2. importance of Nitogen Cycle.
Students draw and label the Nitrogen Cycle.
ACTIVITY 2(Group/20 minutes)
Students were divided into 6 groups.
Students gather information from books, magazines
or internet on guides to healthy diets and healthy
eating habits.
Students plan and practise taking healthy daily
meals.
Each group present their findings.
ACTIVITY 3(Group/20 minutes)
Students propose ideas on how to manage food
resources to avoid wastage .
Students make a plan based on the proposed ideas.
Each group present their proposed ideas.
ACTIVITY 4(Class/10 minutes
Students discuss the benefits of having healthy eating
habits.
PLENARY (Class/5 minutes)
