Scan to Folder - SMB

Scan to SMB is intended for use in scanning to

individual windows workstations. Scanning to
server via SMB may not be possible.

To setup at Computer

Touch TCP/IP
Touch FWD
Note IP Address

Setup One-Touch Button

At a networked computer

Allow Sharing

Right Click on Network Icon on Desktop

Click Properties
Click Network and Sharing Center
Click Sharing and Discovery
Click Public Folder Sharing
Choose Turn on Sharing so anyone with
network access can open, change and create
file
Click Apply

Share Folder

Create Scans folder in desired location

Right Click on Scans folder
Click Share in File Sharing dialog
Verify that account is listed as Co-Owner
Click Share

Find IP address of Computer

Click Start
Click Run...
Type cmd
Click OK
when new window opens, Type ipconfig
Press Enter
Note IP address displayed
Type exit

Open Internet Explorer

Enter IP address of Copier into Address Bar
Press Enter
Konica Minolta Web Connection page will
Open
Click Store Address
Click New Registration
Check SMB
Click Next
Enter the following information:
Use Opening Number: Check
Direct Input: Leave Blank
Name: Name of button on machine
Index: Choose desired Index to file under on
Copier
Main: Check if button is to appear on Main
Screen
Please Check to enter Host Name: leave
unchecked
Host Address: IP address of computer to be
scanned to
File Path: SCANS
User ID: login name of account on computer
being scanned to
Password: Password of account on computer
being scanned to
Click Apply
Click OK

To setup at Copier
Find IP address of Copier

Press Utility Counter

Touch Administrator Setting
Enter Password
Touch OK
Touch Network Setting
