Pirate Party Ideas – Party Menu

Boys love pirates and food so finding pirate party ideas with a great menu is sure to win over the hearts of all your pirate guests. . Menu I love the party menu of a pirate party. You can be creative and rename the food to follow the pirate theme. I’ve listed a couple of alternatives below. Pirate party Menu #1 Lava Cheese-n-Chips – this is just a simple version of nachos. You can make a more complicated cheese sauce recipe or just buy cheese sauce at the store and pour over corn chips. Peg legs – These are vegetable sticks such as carrots, celery, cucumber or sweet potato and place in a small bag. Fruit Skewers – cut up strawberries, grapes and melon and place them on a toothpick. Beware of Pirates Cup Cake- Make your favorite cupcake recipe and sprinkle with black sprinkles and put a couple of gold coins in the top. Pirates Blood – See recipe below Personal Pizzas – Using English muffins you can either have the guests create their own personal pizzas or you can make generic cheese pizzas and let them add their own toppings. Peg legs- same as above. Captains’ fingers dipped in blood- these are themed after the witches sugar cookies that you make at Halloween, but these are called captains fingers (from the plundered boats of the pirates). You can either put the red frosting on part of the cookie or place the blood (frosting) in a small container that they can use to dip the finger. Sharks Blood- Refer to recipe below

Shark or Pirates Blood. Ingredients 1 c fresh or frozen raspberries 2/3 c sugar 1 c lemon juice 2 c water 2 liter bottle of sprite Preparation In a small bowl, with a potato masher or spoon, mash 1 cup rinsed fresh raspberries (6oz) with 2/3 cup sugar. Let stand 10 minutes. Press through a fine strainer into a pitcher (at least 1 ½ quart) discard seeds. Stir in 1 cup lemon juice and 2 cups water. Taste and add more sugar if desired. Pour into ice trays and freeze. Serving directions Place 1-2 raspberry ice cubes into pirates blood glasses and pour sprite over the top. I’ve also seen some cleaver pirate party ideas with the menu where they use pirate ship food trays to serve the food. When it comes to a pirate’s menu, pirate party ideas help make it come alive.
