E
D
Drill Objective:
The assessment of different
trajectories

Drill Description:
A, B and C are standing outside the
court. Each player is responsible for a
certain sector. The drill works as
follows: D and E alternately serve
into the opposite court which is
divided into sectors (e.g. with the use
of cones ore glue strip, etc.). A,B and
C have to shout out into which sector
the ball is likely to drop (it would be
even nicer to shout out even before
the ball has crossed the net). The
player who is responsible moves into
the sector and bump-passes the ball
to the setter F. After 10 repetitions
the players switch positions.

Drill Variations:

Downsize the sectors

The players are standing inside
the court
Vary the serving techniques
