Re: Oil Refining - Considering future eventualities versus the myopia of the present (letter #16)
Dear Members of the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources,
Apparently the mere suggestion that continued low oil prices could make oil production and
refining operations unprofitable and cause them to go out of business is unspeakable, to the
point of silencing the most powerful among American citizens and leaders. Your response
to my request has been complete silenceabsolute zero. Is it just wishful thinking that you
would at least respond with a form letter that you will take my concerns under advisement?
What is happening in Greece could happen in America due to our vulnerability to oil pricing.

As a member of the of Energy & Natural Resources Committee, I believe & opine
