1. CREATING A VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT OF A

LIBRARY FOR NAVIGATION PURPOSE (2014)

This project aimed at

developing a virtual 3
dimensional environment of a
library.
This virtual map can be used
in a handheld device or
projected on a head mounted
display
Software used: Autodesk
123D & OpenGL

2. NASA/NIA RASC-AL ROBO OPS COMPETITION

TEAM MEMBER (2013-2014)
The University at Buffalo Space Bulls team
designed and realized a prototype
planetary rover to compete at the NASA
Johnson Space Center.
The rover includes a larger two section
chassis with a central joint for articulated
movement and four wheels with
independent suspension, directly driven
with four high torque DC motors.

ARM DESIGN
2 member Arm team : A frontmounted, two-link arm with a twosection scoop end effector was
designed to retrieve objective rocks
The rock sample retrieval system being
employed comprised of a robotic arm
with a scooping claw mechanism end
effector enabling it to retrieve rock
samples of varying shapes diameters.
The implemented design was made up
of parts that were designed using
SolidEDGE and ProE and 3D printed in
ABS plastic

3. GEAR DRIVEN LEAF SWEEPER

PROJECT: MANUFACTURING AUTOMATION(2013)

The project included :

Designing of the sweeper
Creating a process plan
Manufacturing few parts &
assembly
Creating a process plan
Studying the layout of the
factory
Perform DFA
Implement group technology
and Flexible Manufacturing
System

4. MOTORIZED TURN TABLE

Precision Automation & Robotics India

(2012-2013)
It includes the designing of
the components of the
turn table required for its
functioning, the required
relative
interaction of these
components with each
other and selection of
standard components based on the
functional requirements.

ACTUAL TURNTABLE: END RESULT

5. SAE INDIA BAJA 2013

TEAM MEMBER (2012-2013)
Problem DefinitionTo design, build, test, promote, and race a
prototype of a single seat off-road vehicle
hypothetically intended for production and
eventual sale to the weekend off-road
enthusiast.
