Helo (pronounced Halo) lives in

Redmond with her cherished
husband and three adored
children. Helos life was brought to
a halt, at the age of 46, by the
diagnosis of a rare tumor lying
over the main artery in her brain.
Defying medical odds, she survived 8 weeks of
hospitalization and 20 weeks of rehabilitation,
relearning how to walk, talk, eat, think and
function. What started out as a private diary
became an inspirational memoir. Spirit 105.3
Radio recently listed her as one of 23 Great
Christian Authors. Helos passion is to help
others find hope.

grow weary, they will walk, and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31.
Helos story is not one of survival or salvaging a life through
a broken body. It is not about endurance through pain, but
victory because of it. She learned that God can replace fear
with courage and discouragement with determination, if you
let Himand now she sees how beautiful life can be.
