Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Intern May 2015 current
As a volunteer services intern, I assist in coordinating events, leading volunteer orientations, giving house tours
to both new families and volunteer groups, creating weekly activity signs, power points, and calendars,
inputting data into Raisers Edge, fill out donation forms, answering phone calls and emails, checking families
in, assisting in room checks, and other various daily tasks.
Performance Learning Center 2014 - current
I was a mentor for Athens-Clarke county adolescents who have behavioral issues and typically come from very
low-income families. I helped teach and guide students through online and in-class math programs.
Child Life Specialist Shadowing 2014
Experience shadowing a Child Life Specialist and had the opportunity to directly with patients and host
activities for the patients myself. I also got to sit through several basic medical procedures alongside the
Child Life Specialist and nurse.
Ronald McDonald House Volunteer: Atlanta, GA - 2013-current
I have and continue to help out with various work around the house, such as: writing letters, answering phone
calls, organizing the storage room, organizing books and games, having conversations with families, cleaning
out refrigerators, setting up Santas Workshop, and many other things.
Childrens Camps 2013-current
Cardiac Patient Teen Outing
o I helped out at a day camp at The Bodies Exhibit event for teen cardiac patients. I helped keep
things on time and organized, answer questions, and keeping the teens focused and moving through
the exhibit. I also helped to sign everyone in and out, and coordinating pick ups with parents.
Camp To Go at Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta
o A day camp at the hospital meant for cardiac patients siblings. I went around to the different
activities and lead a group of kids for the entire day and helped keep things organized and under
control.
Camp Braveheart 2013-2014
o Over night weeklong camp cabin counselor for 8-10 year old boys and 7-9 year old girls.
o Took the campers to all activities and events, kept things under control in the cabin, come up with
creative ideas to keep the campers happy and excited when they began getting homesick and tired,
make sure kids are at activities on time, and much more.
First Steps Atlanta: Atlanta, GA- 2011-current

Babysit for children ranging ages 2 months to 14 years old

Addison Elementary School After School Program Marietta, GA 2010-2011
Experiences with children from all different socioeconomic statuses and displaying different behavioral
problems. Working at an after school program with so many types of children helped me learn about
different activities that certain age groups and genders like.
