Hypoglycemic Effect of Bougainvillea (Bougainvillae spectabilis)

Red and White Flower Leaves Ethanolic Extracts on White
Mice (Mus musculus)

General Objective:
Generally, this study aims to find out the hypoglycemic
effect of Bougainvillea (Bougainvillae spectabilis) Red and White
Flower Leaves Ethanolic Extracts on White Mice (Mus musculus).

Specific Objective:
Specifically, this study aims to find out:
1. Is there a significant difference on the glucose levels of
White Mice(Mus musculus) using different concentrations of
Bougainvillea(Bougainvillae spectabilis) Red Flower
Ethanolic Leaves Extract?
2. Is there a significant difference on the glucose levels of
White Mice(Mus musculus) using different concentrations of
Bougainvillea(Bougainvillae spectabilis) White Flower
Ethanolic Leaves Extract?
3. Is there a significant difference on the glucose levels of
White Mice(Mus musculus) using different concentrations of
Bougainvillea(Bougainvillae spectabilis) Red and White
Flower Ethanolic Leaves Extracts after:
a. 30 minutes
b. 60 minutes
c. 90 minutes
d. 120 minutes
Hypotheses:
1. There is no significant difference on the glucose levels
of White Mice (Mus musculus) using different

concentrations of Bougainvillea (Bougainvillae

spectabilis) Red Flower Ethanolic Leaves Extract.
2. There is no significant difference on the glucose levels
of White Mice (Mus musculus) using different
concentrations of Bougainvillea (Bougainvillae
spectabilis) White Flower Ethanolic Leaves Extract.
3. There is no significant difference on the glucose levels
of White Mice(Mus musculus) using different
concentrations of Bougainvillea(Bougainvillae
spectabilis) Red and White Flower Ethanolic Leaves
Extracts after:
a. 30 minutes
b. 60 minutes
c. 90 minutes
d. 120 minutes
