NE-100
Emulsion Preventing Surfactant
Product Family No. H490390100
DESCRIPTION/APPLICATION:
NE-100 is a very effective frac fluid and acid nonemulsifier. Prevents emulsion formation in most crudes
up to 380F (193C). The addition of NE-100 leads to increased effectiveness of stimulation and workover
fluids, and helps eliminate formation damage due emulsion blocks. It can be used in both sandstone and
carbonate reservoirs, and is compatible with amphoteric, cationic, and anionic additives.

FEATURES/BENEFITS:

Highly effective emulsion preventing surface active agent

Clear nonionic surfactant
Can be used in brines and acids
Applicable in a wide ranges of fluids
Prevents emulsions in most crude/condensate wells
Very cost effective

APPLICATION AND DOSAGE:

The recommended dosage for NE-100 is 0.1 to 0.7% by volume in brines, acids, and fracturing fluids.
NE-100 may be added in batch mix or on the fly applications. NE-100 is compatible with most emulsion
preventing and preferential wetting surfactants, as well as clay stabilizers and mutual solvents.

AVAILABILITY:
NE-100 is available in 55 gallon (208.2 liter) nonreturnable drums.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING:

NE-100 Nonemulsifying Surfactant is incompatible with strong oxidizing agents. A Material Safety Data
Sheet outlining recommended safe handling of NE-100 is available upon request, or will be forwarded
upon the purchase of NE-100.
