(1) These rules may be called the Environment (Protection) Seventh Amendment Rules, 2009. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Environment (Protection) Rules, 1986 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), in rule 3, in sub-rule (3B), for the words, brackets, figures and letters, “in columns (3) to (5) of ‘Schedule VII", the words, brackets, figures and letters “in columns (4) and (5) of Schedule VII" shall be substituted. 3.
