If you are testing Voltage drop for less than 8 Strings use String 1 then 2 etc..
Can be used as a Single String Planing Tool by putting Zeros in Panel Amps for String 2 and String 8.
Keep your voltage drop % as low as posable and as even as posable for each panel string.
You may change the wire temp by using a (c) for Celsius or (f) for Fahrenheit in cell (B3). 50 deg. Celsius would be the standard.
To use Wire Size 1/0, 2/0, 3/0, 4/0 you will need to use the Caps letter O not zero. 1/0=O 2/0=OO 3/0=OOO and so on.
Max wire size is OOOO and Min wire size is 40 gage.
You may want to use standard voltages like 24 volts from the panels and 12 volts at the batteries.
When entering wire length use two way length. How long is each wire from the panel to the combiner box both ways? Same for all other wire runs.
Use at your own risk! Users accept responsibility for the use of these said calculations knowing there could be errors and should
be verified by other means. Creators of this Voltage Drop Calculator accepts Zero Responsibility for Good or Bad out come of it's use.
