This Is A Project Automation Of Hotel
Management. It Is Aimed At Organizing and
Automation of the Process Related To Hotel
Management

The Project Will Benefit The Hotel In Managing The


Information Of Customers, Staff Members Of Various
Department And Some Of The Details Regarding To The
Hotel. This Will Help To Maintain The Data Of The
Hotel And Their Transaction On A Day To Day Basis.

The Current System Being Followed In the Hotel Is
Manual

AND ITS FEATURES ARE:

Important Information Are Written On Paper

Bills Are Hand Written.

This Project Is Planned To Be Developed In “Visual
Basic” As Front End For The User Interface And
“Oracle” As Back End To Store The Records.
It Will Take Care Of The Entire Transaction Of The
Hotel.
This Project Will Also Provide the Information
Related To The
A) Customer
B) Rooms and Table Availability
C) Staff Members of Various Departments
This Project Will Provide Security So That Only The
Authenticated Users Will Be Able To Access Data.

With Improved Computerization Being Involved In
The Maintenance Of Details Of Customer And Staff
Members Of Various Dept. Error And Inconsistencies Is
Reduced To A Great Extent.
Proper Guidance Is Provided To The Customer
Regarding Various Services Of The Hotel.
Validation Of Data Will Be Ensured, Only Accurate
Valid And Complete Data Will Be Stored In The
Database.
Bill and Report Generation in the Form of Print
Outs Will Reduce Manual Work and Increase the Level
of Accuracy.
The Report Generation Will Enable Management
To Analyze The Performance Of The Hotel And Manage
The Administration In The Better Way.
