Fejfar The Material Universe, the Universe that we live in, is Taoist, it has Infinite width, length, height, and depth. The fourth dimension, depth, is Spiritual Depth, involving the Tao, and the Quantum Field. The Tao Manifests the Quantum Field and the Quantum Field Manifests the Material Universe. The hypothesis of a holographic universe, which has been suggested by Michael Talbot, in his book, “The Holographic Universe,” is an unnecessary appendage to the Quantum Universe. One major difficulty with the holographic paradigm is the question as to where the holographic generator is, and who programs and operates it. If a mad scientist were to take control of the holographic generator, he could dematerialize any of us or even turn us into deformed animals. I really don’t think that this is very likely. Additionally, following Ockham’s Razor, Quantum Reality takes care of all the issues that Talbot assigns to holographic reality. Holographic reality is an unnecessary, unneeded step in an adequate theory of
the Universe. Science, Metaphysics, and Quantum Physics explain reality very well, holographic theory really isn’t needed.
