FitSport Fitness and Sports Training Job Description: Personal Trainer

Conduct complimentary new member assessments (these assessments are NOT paid hours-however each one is a sales opportunity to sell one of our training packages and acquire a new client). Participate in "In-House" promotions (body-fat testing, seminars, etc.) Implement Fitness Program design and management. Contact new members via telephone to schedule initial Complimentary Session. Facilitate sales transactions via our website. Manage and organize Client files. Assist and approach Members on the gym floor in an effort to achieve personal training sales. Required Qualifications: Certification in fitness training or college equivalent. (or in the process of obtaining either) Minimum 8 hours of availability in one of 2 shifts - 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. or 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Must carry individual Personal Trainer insurance (within 30 days from date of hire) CPR/AED Certified Compensation: Clients make payments to FitSport, and the Trainers are paid as the sessions are completed per pay period. Each client will have a PT Agreement (contract) on file with FitSport. Trainers will be paid a rate of $25.00 per Hour Session and $12.50 per Half-Hour (unless otherwise agreed upon). Trainers will be paid on the 1st and 15th of each month. Payroll is due on the 8th and 23rd of each month. Trainers are hired as independent contractors and will be 1099 (we will not withhold taxes and do not offer employee benefits i.e. medical/dental coverage etc.). Dress Code: Trainers must be in uniform as follows: Females: Black or Navy Blue fitted workout pants or shorts (NO baggy sweats or baggy shorts) FitSport Top (No Exceptions) Athletic Shoes Caps may be worn, but must be FitSport Logo cap Well groomed/proper hygeine - use of chewing gum IS encouraged Males: Same as above, although pants or shorts are not required to be fitted.
