Sponsorship Agreement Holders

Eligibility
5 members financially eligible
3 of 5 must contribute financial resources
All members must be:
18 or older
Canadian citizen or permanent resident
Reside in community where refugee will live
Commit to supporting refugee financially for
duration of sponsorship period

Once submit application, reviewed on as submitted

It is verified to see it is complete and if so, receive a
file number to communicate with CIC with
If not complete, will be notified
Receive approval letter with a file number
File transferred to a visa office for further processing
Refugee invited for eligibility interview and medical
exams
If approved, given information about arranging for
travel
