Duties and Responsibilities as University Researcher

A. Research
a. Prepare concept papers and project proposals.
b. Conduct and validate research instruments.
c. Undertake research for curriculum development and revision.
d. Conduct cultural studies on the different Muslim groups in Mindanao.
e. Prepare annual reports as assigned by the Dean.
B. Publication
a. In-charge of publication of IIS monographs, newsletters, journals and
monthly bulletins i.e. editing, printing and distribution
C. Extension
a. Initiate linkages with research and other relevant agencies.
b. Attend to all queries of researchers and other agencies on matters
pertaining to the output of the Research Division.
c. Organize forums, conferences and training workshops.
d. Perform other related functions assigned by the Dean and the Research
Coordinator.
