High UL RSSI Relieving Actions


I.

Ensure that the value of sirMaxTti2 is equal to 140 or 120 and that of sirMax is equal to 100.

II.

Check if the cell is suffering from high external interference through the average value of pmLOther counter and try to
check it on hourly basis.

III.

Try to confirm the interference by live monitoring through switching off HSUPA and monitoring the live value of the UL RSSI.

IV.

Check if the cell suffer from AntennaSystemProblemInBranchB alarm that indicates diversity lost and try to fix it.

V.

Check the average value of pmLedchtotal that indicates the load triggered by E-DCH and if it is relatively high decrease the
value of eulServingCellUsersAdmTti2 and monitor UL RSSI.

VI.

Check the values of minPwrRlTdd and UlRateLimitTimer and ensure that they are set to -12 and 130 respectively. You
can change these values further through increasing the ECNO value or decreasing the pathloss value.

VII. Ensure that the value of cqiFeedbackCycle is set to 8.


VIII. Try to play with the PRACH parameters through decreasing constantValueCprach and powerOffsetP0.
